Originally launched in 2009, AK Royalty underwent a complete transformation after Aaron acquired her in 2022. His wife, Kseniya, took charge of the interior design, choosing monochromatic Fendi and Dior furnishings to contrast with the ultra-lavish exterior. That said, a touch of glamour remains, with jeweled feline sculptures adding a statement to the yacht’s main saloon and master bedroom.
Designed for an immersive luxury experience, AK Royalty boasts an open-plan living and dining area, five elegant guest cabins for up to 12 guests, and an outdoor entertainment space featuring a DJ deck. Her sunbathing area can be transformed into an outdoor cinema, while the top deck hot tub is the perfect place to unwind. With over 30 years of maritime experience, including service with Dubai’s royal family, Captain Argote prides himself on offering an unmatched level of hospitality. “There hasn’t been a guest on board who didn’t want to come back,” he says confidently.

While Dubai is often associated with day charters and glamorous parties, Aaron and Kseniya are on a mission to showcase the region’s potential for longer, more immersive yachting experiences. “There’s a lot to do here beyond just partying,” Aaron says, aiming to shift the narrative around yachting in the Middle East.
Since launching with Burgess in December 2023, AK Royalty has hosted over 20 successful charters and even caught the attention of Bollywood producers. “The best marketing we’ve had is simply sitting in the marina,” Aaron reveals. “Guests and even hotels come up to inquire about the yacht.”
