The latest chapter in the successful Amels 60 series has begun, as Amels 6007, the seventh hull in the line, embarks on her sea trials from Damen Yachting’s facility in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. First unveiled in February, the 60-metre custom superyacht is on course for a summer 2025 delivery.

This milestone marks a first-time collaboration between the Dutch shipyard and British design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, who were enlisted to craft a refined, “beach house-inspired” interior. With exterior lines by Espen Øino and naval architecture by Damen Yachting, this yacht exemplifies the modern evolution of the Amels legacy.
“Beach House” Meets High Performance
Brokerage house Moran Yacht & Ship, who were involved in the sale, noted that several successful platform upgrades from earlier units — most notably the extended sundeck from the second hull, Entourage — have been incorporated into this new vessel.
Inside, the interiors reflect a calming, modern aesthetic, with natural oak, fluted detailing, bronze accents, and stainless steel finishes throughout. Designer Ben Harrison described the concept as “undeniably contemporary, a home away from home with a sophisticated take on beach house luxury.“
Striking Signature Look
Amels 6007 sports a bright white superstructure paired with sleek black detailing, including a stripe along the waterline that underscores her geometric styling. Espen Øino’s trademark angular windows complete the vessel’s dynamic profile, offering both sharp aesthetics and panoramic views.
Wellness and Water-Level Luxury
One of the key features seen during sea trials is the expansive swim platform, which leads directly into a spacious beach club complete with a sauna and gym. A full dive centre rounds out the yacht’s water-centric amenities, making her ideal for active charter or private cruising.

Onboard accommodation is arranged for 12 guests across six cabins, along with quarters for 12 crew, plus the captain — ensuring full comfort and flawless service wherever she cruises.
A Busy Year for Amels
Amels currently has 10 yachts in build or on order. These include the groundbreaking 120-metre Project Tanzanite, which will claim the title of largest Dutch-built motor yacht once delivered.
The yard’s momentum continues with the recent spotting of Project Zurich, the third hull in the Amels 80 series, as it moves into the outfitting phase.
