Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts has successfully launched Camila, the second yacht in its 49.9-metre Bilgin 163 series. The first unit, Eternal Spark, was delivered last year and made its debut at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.
Sold in 2023 to a US-based client, Camila’s sale was managed by FGI Yacht Group alongside Berkay Yılmaz, Bilgin Yachts’ commercial director. The yacht’s sleek exterior is the work of Unique Yacht Design, a renowned Turkish studio recognized for its contributions to vessels like the 41.9-metre explorer yacht Kasif and Al Reem, the final hull in Bilgin’s flagship series.
Modern Luxury Meets Warm Elegance
The interior, crafted by Italian design studio Hot Lab, embodies a “modern, rich, yet warm” aesthetic, according to Enrico Lumini, partner and head of design at Hot Lab. This refined atmosphere was achieved through a combination of exposed woods, laminated glass with meshed metal accents, chrome finishes, and rich Italian fabrics. The design focuses on clean architectural volumes with a renewed sense of softness, creating a harmonious transition between colors and materials. The interior features a neutral palette of champagne, cream, and pearl grey.
Camila’s main saloon is characterized by low bulwarks and full-height windows, reinforcing a connection with the sea. High ceilings further enhance the sense of space, while a full-height round glass wall elegantly separates the lobby from the main saloon. The design also maximizes natural light, with highlights including a floating staircase, a skylight on the sundeck floor, and a striking chandelier in the main lobby.
A Sportive Exterior with Expansive Outdoor Spaces
According to Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design, Camila boasts a sportive look, achieved through expansive exterior spaces. The yacht features a 21-metre-long sundeck and a 12-metre-long bridge deck aft, offering generous open-air living areas. The vessel also includes a large beach club and a six-cabin layout, ensuring both luxury and comfort for its guests.
A Milestone for Bilgin Yachts

Looking ahead, Bilgin Yachts currently has 14 units on order or under construction, including its largest project to date, the 86-metre Bilgin 282. The Turkish yard also celebrated the launch of Al Reem in December 2024.
