Antonini Navi Unveils 34m SUY110: Expanding the Sport Utility Yacht Line

-

Italian yacht builder Antonini Navi has officially expanded its acclaimed Sport Utility Yacht (SUY) series with the debut of the SUY110, a 33.5-metre model introduced during an exclusive event in Monaco, held in partnership with CA Moravia Yachting.

Designed by renowned Italian naval architect Fulvio De Simoni, the SUY110 brings the yard’s rugged luxury philosophy to a more compact, yet equally versatile, platform. The model follows in the wake of its larger sibling, the SUY135, which is currently under construction at Antonini’s shipyard in La Spezia.

Form Meets Function: A Compact Explorer with Serious Capability

Antonini Navi describes the SUY110 as “equally ambitious” as the larger SUY135 — and for good reason. Its 50-square-metre stern hangar is a standout innovation, capable of housing a 4.5m tender, 4.2m sailing boat, two 3m Jet Skis, along with SUP boards, canoes, and other watertoys — all while maintaining impressive interior volume.

The yacht’s steel hull and aluminium superstructure reflect the shipyard’s DNA: durability, practicality, and Italian design sophistication.

Seamless Living Spaces: Veranda Lounge and Elevated Beach Club

One of the SUY110’s most distinctive features is its elevated beach club, which overlooks the garage and connects directly to the main deck. This layout transforms the space into a 27-square-metre “veranda lounge”, blending indoor and outdoor living with dining and chill-out zones.

To ensure continuity and accessibility throughout, the yacht incorporates 11 connecting ramps (seven up, four down), offering a fluid movement across decks — a rarity in a yacht this size.

Accommodation and Layout

The SUY110 is designed to comfortably house 10 guests across five cabins, including:

  • A master suite with private studio
  • Two VIP staterooms
  • Two twin cabins, all en suite

The lower deck also features a separate crew area for six members, ensuring privacy and efficiency in service.

Forward, guests will find a dedicated bow lounge, while aft, a dip pool complements the relaxed alfresco lifestyle that defines the SUY range.

Performance and Engineering

Already fully engineered, the SUY110 is ready for build, with delivery estimated 22 months from contract signing. Powered by twin CAT engines, the model is expected to achieve:

  • Top speed: 14 knots
  • Cruising speed: 12 knots

An optional diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system is available, offering up to 20% fuel savings compared to similar yachts in the 30–35m segment — a step forward in sustainability without compromising performance.

Current Projects and Market Position

The SUY110 joins Antonini Navi’s active development of the SUY135 and the Seamore 34, reinforcing the shipyard’s vision of rugged, multi-purpose superyachts designed for real-world exploration with refined Italian flair.

“With the SUY110, we’re offering a compact yet uncompromising explorer yacht that embodies adventure, comfort, and engineering excellence,” said an Antonini Navi spokesperson during the Monaco launch.
