The 194.9-metre REV Ocean, the world’s largest superyacht, has departed Norway’s Vard shipyard and is en route to Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen in the Netherlands for 15 to 18 months of outfitting.

Scheduled for delivery in Q4 2026, the vessel will serve as both a luxury charter yacht and a platform for marine research and conservation.

Recently announced for charter with Burgess, REV Ocean will dedicate 25% of its time to chartering, with revenue supporting its philanthropic mission.

Designed with sustainability in mind, REV Ocean features fuel-efficient systems, an energy recovery rudder, and cutting-edge oceanographic research equipment. The vessel’s maiden voyage is set to explore the Arctic before heading south via the U.S. and South America.

Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking project redefining the intersection of luxury yachting and marine conservation.
