Turquoise Yachts Launches 88m Flagship Angelique

Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts has launched its new flagship superyacht, the 87.7-metre Angelique, marking a significant milestone for both the yard and the Turkish yacht-building industry. Formerly known as Project Vento, the yacht is now the largest vessel by length and volume ever built by Turquoise Yachts, and the largest yacht by volume constructed in Turkey to date.

Designed inside and out by H2 Yacht Design, Angelique continues a long-standing collaboration between the British studio and the shipyard, spanning more than a decade. Her exterior is defined by flowing lines, sculpted grilles and a distinctive deep-blue hull, while her 2,550GT volume places her well ahead of the yard’s previous flagship, the 79-metre Nympheas.

Built in steel and aluminium, Angelique has now been launched from Turquoise’s Pendik facilities and is scheduled for delivery later this year. Following delivery, she will join the charter market exclusively with Edmiston, cruising the Mediterranean this summer with weekly rates starting from €1.2 million.

On board, the yacht places strong emphasis on wellness, entertainment and outdoor living. Highlights include two Jacuzzis, an expansive beach club with fold-down terraces and drive-in tender access, a full spa complete with hammam and sauna, a panoramic bridge-deck gym and a 6.5-metre glass-sided swimming pool with contra-flow.

Guest accommodation is arranged for 12 guests across seven cabins, including a private owner’s suite located forward on its own deck. Entertainment features extend to a golf simulator, DJ setups throughout, an outdoor cinema and a touch-and-go helipad that doubles as a basketball court. A dramatic central atrium with a suspended Dale Chihuly sculpture forms the yacht’s interior focal point.

With a 13.2-metre beam and a 3.7-metre draught, Angelique represents a new benchmark for Turquoise Yachts, reinforcing the shipyard’s position among the world’s leading builders of large custom superyachts.
