Turkish shipyard Mengi Yay has announced the sale of the first unit from its NL Plus 52 series, a 52.6-metre superyacht currently under construction at the yard’s Istanbul facilities. The project, known as NB114, is scheduled for delivery in 2027.

Following the sale, Mengi Yay has confirmed that a second NL Plus 52 will now enter construction, underscoring strong market interest in the model.
Designed in collaboration with Nuvolari Lenard, the NL Plus 52 places a strong emphasis on open-air living and seamless indoor–outdoor flow. A key highlight is the expansive aft beach club, featuring fold-out platforms and a custom pool at water level, complemented by a lower-deck wellness area with sauna, fitness space, and relaxation lounge.
Outdoor lifestyle spaces continue forward, with a generous foredeck that doubles as an open-air cinema and a sundeck described as one of the largest in its category, complete with a heated spa pool and fire pit.
Accommodation includes a 50-square-metre owner’s suite with private office, spa-inspired bathroom, and a slide-out terrace, alongside four VIP guest cabins on the lower deck and quarters for eight crew. Interiors reflect Nuvolari Lenard’s refined Mediterranean aesthetic, combining warm tones, premium woods, and expansive glazing.
The yacht features a highly efficient hull by Van Oossanen, is classed to RINA C, and remains under the 500GT threshold—positioning the NL Plus 52 as a compelling option in the custom superyacht segment.
