The Mediterranean’s most anticipated summer regatta, the Superyacht Cup Palma, is back this week from 25–28 June, bringing the spirit of high-performance racing and luxury living to the iconic Bay of Palma. Now in its 29th edition, this storied event is Europe’s longest-running superyacht regatta—and continues to grow in prestige, participation, and atmosphere.

📍 A New Home at Club de Mar Mallorca

This year marks the event’s relocation to the beautifully renovated Club de Mar Mallorca, a state-of-the-art venue designed for large yacht hospitality. All participating yachts are moored stern-to, forming an impressive floating arena where crews, owners, and guests gather before and after each day’s racing.

⛵ Who’s Racing

Eleven world-class yachts are split across two primary racing classes. Among the standouts:

  • The Hoek-designed classics Atalante and Vijonara, back to battle in Class A
  • High-tech performers like Gelliceaux, Linnea Aurora, and Cervo
  • A fast-paced showdown in Class B, led by Wally’s iconic Rose—chasing a record third consecutive win
  • Four Baltic 68 Café Racers competing in a special performance bracket

Each race day promises tactical battles, coastal breezes, and impressive displays of seamanship—both traditional and cutting-edge.

📅 Regatta Schedule

  • Wednesday, 25 June: Registration, welcome reception on the dock
  • Thursday, 26 June: Pantaenius Race Day
  • Friday, 27 June: Day 2 Racing & Owners’ Dinner
  • Saturday, 28 June: Final races and the prize-giving celebration

Start guns sound at 13:00 daily, with courses carefully planned to highlight both performance and spectator access.

👁️ Where to Watch

Spectators can catch the action from the Palma waterfront or from chartered RIBs—just be sure to maintain a safe distance from the racing marks. Live updates and race tracking are also available online via thesuperyachtcup.com.
