Polish design studio Opalinski Design House has revealed an innovative 49.9-metre superyacht concept boasting a “patented” rotational transom. The groundbreaking design incorporates small electric motors that extend the swim platform and beach club laterally, creating “wings” for sunbathing and leisure.
Meeting Market Demand
“After speaking with several brokers, I was told that there is significant demand for a custom 50-metre yacht that remains under 500GT,” explained Lukasz Opalinski, the designer and founder of the studio. “Based on these recommendations, I created this brand-new concept – a low-profile, fast cruiser with our original rotational transom, along with several other innovative features.”
Sleek Design and Versatile Features
The superyacht’s exterior is characterized by a pinched bow, angled superstructure, and grille overhang, lending a sporty yet elegant profile despite its generous length. Key features include:
- A dip pool surrounded by sunpads and sofa seating on the bow.
- A sheltered sundeck and fixed sunpads overlooking the aft beach club.
- A tender garage relocated to the bow, allowing the lower deck aft to be fully dedicated to leisure and relaxation.

The yacht’s layout accommodates six guest cabins, including a luxurious master suite positioned aft of the bridge deck. The master suite features a spacious cabin, en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and a private deck for unparalleled privacy and comfort.

Designed for efficiency and speed, the yacht offers a cruising speed of 16 knots and an impressive range of 4,500 nautical miles. Additional specifications include a nine-metre beam and a shallow draft of 2.2 metres, enhancing accessibility to various cruising grounds.
