Italian studio InMind Design has unveiled Interstellar, a striking new 49.9-metre superyacht concept that blends futuristic design with explorer functionality. Characterised by bold monochrome lines and an elongated aft deck, Interstellar is aimed at owners who want their yacht to be a statement of creativity, culture, and individuality.

“The owner I envision is someone who values design as a form of cultural expression,” said founder Lorenzo Squadrito. “They’re not looking for a yacht that blends in.”
Aft Deck as a Lifestyle Hub
At the heart of Interstellar is a spacious aft deck, complete with:

- A casual alfresco dining area
- A wet sunbathing zone
- A generous infinity pool
- And below, an open-plan beach club with 270-degree views and fold-out terraces

The beach club also features a clever tender lift that doubles as storage during cruising.
Futuristic VIP Cabin

One of the most unique features is the VIP suite on the main deck. The bed faces panoramic, curved floor-to-ceiling windows, enhanced by mirrored walls to amplify space and light. It’s a design that evokes both comfort and space-age aesthetics.
Social Spaces and Smart Design
Other standout features include:
- Alfresco dining for 14 guests on the upper deck
- A sundeck coffee lounge surrounded by greenery
- A full gym with treadmills and weights
- A complementary tender, designed in matching style by InMind Design

Timeless Vision
Squadrito says the design aims to feel “iconic and bold, yet fluid and timeless,” with a silhouette that could belong to the past or future.
