M51 Unveils 71m Superyacht Concept ‘Addition’ With Unique Courtyard Beach Club

Design studio M51 has introduced its latest 71-metre superyacht concept, named Addition, which features a distinctive transom and split bulwarks, creating a bold, Dalí-esque exterior profile.

The yacht’s split bulwarks form the foundation for a one-of-a-kind beach club layout, designed as a courtyard-style social hub. A glass bridge connects the space to the main deck, while port and starboard hull doors open for direct water access. This area includes a bar, lounge, dining space, and a raised hot tub with a grotto, making it a prime location for onboard entertainment and relaxation.

Smart Layout & Luxurious Amenities

The bridge and main decks feature wraparound exterior walkways, with spiral staircases providing external access between decks. Accommodation is envisioned for 12 guests, including:
Four guest cabins on the lower deck
VIP suite on the main deck
Master suite on a private forward split deck

The sundeck is designed for year-round enjoyment, featuring both interior and exterior lounge spaces, a dining area, and a hot tub for panoramic views.

For tender and toy storage, Addition is equipped with a full-beam aft tender garage, capable of housing a 7.5-metre tender. A hydraulic forward toybox provides space for Jet Skis, water toys, and a rescue tender.

Performance & Build

Designed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Addition boasts:
📌 1,350GT of interior volume
📌 11.5-metre beam
📌 3.25-metre draught

M51 is known for its unconventional designs, having previously revealed Forge II and Forged, a duo of volcano-inspired yacht concepts. With Addition, the studio continues its bold, sculptural approach to modern superyacht design.
