GX Superyachts, the new luxury brand from hybrid propulsion pioneer Greenline Yachts, has unveiled the first interior images of its inaugural 42-metre model, the GX42. Currently under construction at SES Yachts in Tuzla, Turkey, the yacht is on track for a summer 2026 delivery.

As the flagship of the GX Superyachts fleet, the GX42 is being built with sustainability and long-range cruising at its core. Designed by Marco Casali of Too Design in close collaboration with the owner, this first GX42 will be a 353GT raised pilothouse (RPH) variant—a decision that has unlocked new levels of interior volume and flexibility.
A Family-Focused Interior with Eco-Luxury Touches
The yacht’s interior reflects a vision of responsible yachting and elegant minimalism, designed for long-term family living. Casali’s warm, nature-inspired palette includes walnut wood panelling, white lacquer and leather finishes, and soft, tactile furnishings from leading Italian brands such as Poltrona Frau and B&B Italia. Bathroom fixtures from Antonio Lupi and Dornbracht continue the yacht’s understated luxury.

“This is no showboat for flexing muscles,” said Casali. “We worked closely with the owners to create a family-friendly layout using natural, calming materials. It’s a yacht made for genuine living at sea.”
Spacious Accommodation & Bespoke Living

Key to the GX42’s interior design is the main deck master suite, complete with forward-facing views, a private foredeck terrace, walk-in wardrobe, and dedicated office. By placing the owner’s suite on the main deck, the lower deck gains space for a larger VIP cabin with a fold-down balcony to port, in addition to three further guest cabins with flexible layouts and optional Pullman berths.
Design That Delivers, Inside and Out

The RPH configuration provides a sleek, sporty silhouette topped with 27kW of solar panels, while the Coupé variant features a sliding solar-paneled roof that reveals a hidden sundeck with Jacuzzi and bar.
Both configurations include a beach club with fold-down terraces, a hydraulic swim platform, and generous al fresco lounging and dining areas across multiple decks. The flybridge and foredeck further amplify the onboard outdoor lifestyle, perfect for Mediterranean and long-haul cruising alike.
True Hybrid Power Meets Long-Range Performance

The GX42 is powered by serial hybrid drive, a high-capacity battery bank, and integrated solar arrays, all technology refined under the Greenline brand. At anchor, the yacht can operate silently for 48+ hours—running air conditioning and hotel load without noise, vibration, or emissions.
Performance in numbers:
- Top Speed (Diesel): 12 knots
- Electric Range: 100 nautical miles at 6 knots
- Diesel Range: 11,571 nautical miles at 6 knots
- Carbon Footprint: Less than 40% of a traditional yacht in class
This innovation in hull efficiency is owed to Francesco Rogantin of NAMES studio, who collaborated on the naval architecture.
What’s Next for GX Superyachts?
Following the GX42, the brand revealed an entry-level 34-metre RPH model at the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show, expanding its range of aluminium hybrid yachts from 24 to 56 metres.
“We are building something truly different,” said founder Vladimir Zinchenko. “The GX42 is an expression of what hybrid yachting can be—efficient, elegant, and environmentally responsible. It’s a vessel that offers the volume and features of a much larger yacht, yet sails with a lighter footprint.”
With its bold eco-luxury statement and a design philosophy rooted in real onboard experience, the GX42 signals a new era for conscious cruising.
