Royal Hakvoort has unveiled the first interior images of its 61-meter superyacht Asia, a vessel that epitomizes elegance, innovation, and comfort. Delivered in May 2024, the yacht has already completed a four-month Mediterranean tour with her owners and is currently anchored in the Bahamas.

Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the team behind both her exterior and interior styling, Asia’s classic bow and sculptural lines mask an expansive interior volume of 1,268 GT. Her design successfully marries refined aesthetics with functionality, delivering spaces optimized for both grand entertaining and intimate family moments.

A Home on the Water
Commissioned by an experienced family intent on global exploration, Asia is the third custom 61-meter yacht by Royal Hakvoort to feature Sinot’s design, with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. Sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in 2019, this project marks the eighth Hakvoort build managed by the brokerage.
The owners, deeply involved in the design process, envisioned a yacht that felt like a home. “Asia is the boat I have dreamt of since I was a young boy,” shared the owner. “Royal Hakvoort built us a home—Asia turned out precisely as we envisioned.”

Interior Highlights
Sinot’s interiors for Asia are described as “playfully creative,” achieving the spaciousness of an 80-meter yacht within a 61-meter frame. Key highlights include:

- Owner’s Deck: A private retreat featuring a beauty salon, two bathrooms, an office, a sky lounge, and panoramic views from a king-sized bed. Outdoor dining for 12 and a foredeck Jacuzzi enhance the experience.
- Guest Accommodation: Six cabins host 12 guests, including a forward VIP suite comparable to the owner’s apartment, complete with a private saloon, rainfall shower, and bathtub. Four additional double cabins on the lower deck provide direct access to the beach club.
- Social Spaces: The main deck boasts a formal dining area for 12, a cozy lounge, and a bar, while the sundeck features a glass-walled Jacuzzi with a swim-up bar, sun pads, and a grill station.

Rejuvenation and Recreation
The lower deck prioritizes guest wellness with:

- Beach Club: A spa, sauna, massage room, lounge, and juice station in calming natural tones. The space transforms into a karaoke lounge at night, with underwater lights enhancing the ambiance.
- Gym and Social Areas: A fully-equipped gym on the bridge deck is complemented by outdoor social spaces separated by sliding glass doors.

Advanced Engineering
Asia’s cutting-edge hybrid propulsion system incorporates shaft generators and a battery for peak shaving, achieving exceptional efficiency. With a range of 4,800 nautical miles at 10 knots and top speeds exceeding 15 knots, she is equipped for long voyages. A heat recovery system, now standard in Hakvoort builds, underscores her forward-thinking sustainability.

A Bright Future for Royal Hakvoort
Asia represents the pinnacle of Royal Hakvoort’s craftsmanship and design ingenuity, setting a benchmark for luxury, efficiency, and innovation. As she begins her global journeys, Asia stands as a testament to the shipyard’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
