Italian builder Columbus Yachts, part of the Palumbo Superyachts group, has released the first full interior and exterior images of its newest charter vessel, the 47-metre Acqua Chiara. The yacht is the debut unit in the builder’s new Atlantique 47 range and represents a fresh evolution in Columbus’ design philosophy — fusing sailing yacht elegance with motor yacht performance and comfort.

Following her delivery earlier this year from Columbus’ Ancona facility, Acqua Chiara is now available for charter through Fraser Yachts, showcasing a balance of refined luxury and sea-inspired architecture.
Fluid Lines, Inspired by the Wind
Designed inside and out by Hot Lab, the Milan-based design studio, the Acqua Chiara reflects a soft sailing aesthetic despite her steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She features flowing exterior lines that widen amidships and taper toward both the bow and stern — enhancing stability and elegance while staying true to the Atlantique line’s maritime soul.
Her stern is a clear focal point. The multi-level design offers three outdoor living zones:
- A shaded dining terrace ideal for al fresco meals
- A sunken lounge and pool deck with fold-down sea balconies
- A transformer swim platform for seamless water access
The bow area offers another expansive outdoor space with a second pool, circular lounge seating, and dedicated sunbathing areas — elevating Acqua Chiara’s profile as a charter-ready yacht designed for all-day enjoyment.
Sophisticated Interiors with a City Edge
Inside, Acqua Chiara blends modern urban elegance with sea-inspired materials. Contrasts dominate the interior styling — soft leather inlays meet dramatic black and white marble, while reflective glass panels and intricate mosaics add depth and flair.
Accommodations include five luxurious cabins for up to 10 guests, featuring:
- A main-deck master suite forward
- Two king-size cabins and two twin cabins on the lower deck
- A dedicated crew area for eight, ensuring top-tier service
Charter-Ready Amenities & Engineering
The yacht’s upper deck forward area features a second swimming pool with panoramic views and adjacent bar seating, creating a versatile lounge and entertaining space.
Down below, the beach club is framed by a smaller spa pool and walk-down water access on both port and starboard sides — perfect for casual sea dips or watersports.
Other standout features include:
- Garages for both tenders and Jet Skis
- A 5-metre main tender and a dedicated rescue tender
- Cruising range of 3,400 nautical miles at 12 knots
- Powered by twin 1,350hp engines, with a top speed of 15.5 knots
A New Chapter for Columbus Yachts
The Acqua Chiara is part of Columbus Yachts’ continued expansion, joining an order book that includes four more builds. Among them is the newly announced Crossover 48, a next-generation explorer designed to take the yard’s craftsmanship into adventurous, long-range territories.
With its mix of leisure space, contemporary design, and cruising capability, Acqua Chiara positions Columbus at the forefront of modern charter yacht innovation — ready to host discerning travellers in true Italian style.
