AB Yachts, part of the Next Yacht Group, has delivered Effe, the first hull in its new AB 130 series — a nearly 40-metre superyacht that combines sleek aesthetics with blistering speed and cutting-edge innovation.

Measuring 39.7 metres in length, Effe is designed entirely in-house and is a clear evolution of the AB 125 model, Wraith. Her profile is sleek and aggressive, with a low-slung silhouette that hints at her extraordinary performance: Effe can surpass 40 knots, powered by waterjet propulsion, offering both speed and stability.
One of the most distinctive features of Effe is her expansive beach club concept. At the stern, two large wings extend outwards to form a unique “terrace on the sea” — a transformative space that connects directly to the aft cockpit and the main saloon, creating a 100-square-metre social hub. This area also includes a sea-view pool with a retractable cover, while more open-air relaxation space can be found on the flybridge.
Inside, the main saloon spans 50 square metres and is bathed in natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic, 360-degree views. The décor and layout have been fully customised for her experienced owners, reflecting their deep familiarity with yachting and lifestyle at sea.

Practicality is not forgotten — Effe features a float-in garage with space for a 4.6-metre tender, Jet Skis, Seabobs, and various water toys. Her shallow draft of just 1.3 metres makes her ideal for coastal cruising, while her 450-nautical-mile range at a cruising speed of 35 knots ensures serious performance across longer distances.
AB Yachts currently has nine yachts under construction, with two more units from the AB 130 series already in the pipeline — a clear indication that Effe has made a powerful first impression in the high-performance superyacht space.
