The Italian shipyard Baglietto has unveiled the eighth unit in its successful DOM 133 series, christened Andala, during a heartfelt ceremony in La Spezia, Italy. Attended by the owner, family, and close friends, the launch marked an emotional moment and added yet another standout vessel to the brand’s flourishing spring portfolio.
Andala is the fourth yacht launched by Baglietto in 2025, joining sisterships such as L’Instant and Astera on the water. Her striking, masculine profile comes from the creative vision of renowned Italian designer Stefano Vafiadis, while the interiors were custom-tailored by Giorgio M. Cassetta, a long-time collaborator of the yard. According to Baglietto, this unit remains true to the DNA of the DOM 133 series but carries significant owner-driven customisations in both layout and finish.
Among the key features are expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant side balconies, and dual swimming pools — one located at the bow and the other at the stern, offering multiple zones for relaxation and entertainment.
The build was carefully overseen by IBI Yachts, who represented the client throughout the project, while Andrea Pezzini of Floating Life served as the owner’s technical manager and surveyor.
