Damen Yachting has marked another major milestone with the launch of the fourth Amels 80 superyacht, the latest unit in its flagship Limited Editions range. The 80-metre vessel was launched at the Damen yard in Galati, Romania, and will soon be transported to Vlissingen for full outfitting. Delivery is scheduled for 2027.
With its bold, masculine exterior designed by renowned naval architect Espen Øino, and luxurious interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the Amels 80 represents the pinnacle of Dutch semi-custom yacht building. Though the specifics of this particular hull remain confidential, the model is known for its vast volumes and thoughtful lifestyle features.

Among the Amels 80’s standout amenities are:
- A 200-square-metre sundeck for relaxing and entertaining
- A dedicated owner’s deck offering maximum privacy
- A 6.5-metre swimming pool
- A helipad on the foredeck
- An expansive beach club that includes opening sea terraces, a spa, sauna, gym, Hammam, and massage room
The yacht spans a beam of 12.5 metres and delivers an impressive internal volume of 2,175GT. Accommodation is planned for 14 guests and 20 crew members, underscoring the vessel’s suitability for extended global cruising in complete comfort.
The yacht was sold in 2024 with Fraser brokers Stuart Larsen and Jan Jaap Minnema representing the client throughout the transaction.
The launch follows a successful year for Damen Yachting, with 11 superyachts currently under construction or on order – five of which belong to the Amels 80 series. The first unit was launched earlier this year and secured a buyer just six months after construction began, underscoring the strong market appeal of this design.
As anticipation builds for this fourth hull’s completion, the Amels 80 continues to affirm its place as a standout choice in the 80-metre market—offering striking design, efficient build timelines, and unmatched lifestyle features.
