The 44.3-meter sailing superyacht Magic, built by renowned Dutch shipyard Vitters, has officially set sail for sea trials in the Netherlands. Previously known as Hull 3093, Magic was launched from the yard’s Amsterdam facility in January 2025 and is now undergoing rigorous testing before delivery to her owner.

A Fusion of Performance and Elegance
Designed as a fast cruising sloop, Magic boasts a sleek grey exterior sculpted by the acclaimed Reichel Pugh Yacht Design. The British studio Design Unlimited, in collaboration with Pieter Laureys and TKI, curated the yacht’s elegant interiors. The vessel features “modern, dynamic exterior lines” with generous glass surfaces and a contemporary superstructure that enhances both aesthetics and functionality.
Outdoor living takes center stage with expansive deck spaces fore and aft, providing multiple lounging and dining options. The transom area transforms into a spacious beach club, offering an intimate connection with the water. A dedicated sunbathing pad and two alfresco seating areas ensure guests can enjoy the elements in comfort and style.

Luxury and Innovation Below Deck
Inside, Magic embraces a contemporary aesthetic, with wooden paneling adding warmth to the modern interior. A full-length deckhouse skylight bathes the main living areas in natural light, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere.
The yacht also incorporates cutting-edge technical innovations. Among these are two “submarine” anchor systems for enhanced stability, a state-of-the-art “peak shaving” battery system to optimize energy efficiency, and twin V-drums in the forepeak to improve sail handling.

A Vision Realized by Vitters
Vitters’ sales and marketing manager, Bas Peute, previously spoke about the project, emphasizing the team’s dedication to delivering a yacht that balances high performance with luxury and safety. “The project team worked intensively together to fulfill the owner’s requirements of building a safe and comfortable superyacht that also performs well in all weather conditions,” he noted.

As Magic nears completion, Vitters continues to push the boundaries of sailing yacht innovation. The Dutch shipyard currently has three yachts under construction, including the groundbreaking Project Zero—the world’s first “zero fossil fuel” sailing yacht.

With her sea trials now underway, Magic is poised to become another milestone in Vitters’ legacy of high-performance luxury sailing yachts.
