Vripack Unveils Interior Renderings of Flagship Burger Boat Yacht

-

Dutch design studio Vripack has revealed the first glimpse of the interiors of the upcoming Burger 180, the flagship yacht currently under construction at Burger Boat Company’s Wisconsin facility. Scheduled for launch in 2025, the 54.9-metre aluminium vessel will become the largest yacht ever built by the American shipyard, surpassing its current flagship, the 46.8-metre Ingot, by a full eight metres.

Built in tandem with a sistership featuring interiors by Patrick Knowles, the Burger 180 is a collaborative showcase of Vripack’s longstanding relationship with the shipyard. “We’ve been fortunate enough to work on at least a dozen yacht collaborations with the team at Burger,” said Bart Bouwhuis, co-creative director at Vripack. “For the all-new Burger 180, we relied on our intrinsic understanding of the true Burger owner and built the dream interior up from there.”

While Gregory C. Marshall is behind the exterior design of the series – following his previous collaboration with the yard on a 37.3-metre concept – Vripack brings a refined and elegant touch to the interior, elevating the onboard living experience.

The 720GT yacht will feature four decks, all accessible by elevator, with expansive interior and exterior volumes. At the top, a 23-metre-long sundeck includes a large pool, sit-up bar, and multiple lounge areas designed for entertaining and relaxation.

Interior materials have been chosen to evoke warmth and tranquillity. American walnut is used extensively on floors and ceilings, paired with rich Dedar fabrics, high-gloss accents, and marble selections such as Calacatta Gold and Dark Emperador in the guest en suites. The result is a refined yet comfortable atmosphere, equally suitable for family cruising or high-end entertaining.

The main saloon features an open-plan layout with full-height windows, leading to a formal dining space for up to 12 guests. Additional social zones include an upper saloon bar and an intimate, circular lounging area located forward of the pilothouse, positioned for sweeping ocean views.

Guest accommodation is provided for up to ten across five cabins, including a full-beam owners’ suite on the main deck with a private study. The lower deck houses four guest suites, which can be reconfigured into two larger family suites as needed.

For versatility and adventure, the Burger 180 includes a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck and storage for an 11-metre tender launched via a hydraulic stinger system. Crew quarters accommodate up to 13 personnel, featuring a professional-grade galley and generous storage including a walk-in fridge, freezer, and pantry for long-range cruising.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3512C engines, the yacht is expected to deliver a top cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. Comfort is ensured with four Naiad fin stabilisers, effective both at anchor and underway.

The Burger 180 represents a bold evolution in American yachtbuilding, merging Vripack’s European design excellence with Burger’s craftsmanship and heritage. As she nears completion, the project promises to set a new benchmark in the semi-custom superyacht space.
