Tankoa Yachts has celebrated the launch of Loewe, the second hull in its 55-metre Sportiva 55 series, at its facility in Genoa. Sold to a European owner in 2022, Loewe will soon join the charter market with Ocean Independence, cruising key destinations throughout the Mediterranean.

Following closely behind her sistership Rose, which marked her technical launch just weeks ago, Loewe distinguishes herself with a focus on fluid design and heightened personality. As with her predecessor, the yacht was penned by renowned Italian designer Luca Dini, who emphasized elegance, innovation, and spatial fluidity in this sub-500GT platform.
“With Loewe, our goal was to push the personality of the Tankoa 55 even further,” said Dini. “We wanted to emphasise fluidity and character while maintaining the sophistication and quiet strength that are central to our design philosophy.”
Among her charter-friendly features, Loewe boasts a beach club that doubles as a wellness retreat, complete with a spa, infinity pool, and the signature “sealine window” – a semi-submerged glass feature offering rare underwater views.

The yacht’s layout includes six cabins: five guest suites on the lower deck and a master stateroom on the main deck, which benefits from an indoor-outdoor terrace and private Jacuzzi. The interiors, envisioned by the owner’s team, lean into a calm palette of creams and greys, accented by hammered metallic ceilings and contemporary low-slung furniture.

Al fresco living is a clear priority aboard Loewe, with a spacious sundeck hosting a second pool, bar, and sunbathing zone. The foredeck features hidden tender storage and an additional lounging space, preserving the yacht’s sleek profile.

An elevator serves all decks, and a large galley on the main deck ensures smooth guest service.
Loewe is one of 11 projects currently underway at Tankoa, including the highly anticipated 56-metre T650 Apache, the largest in the fleet to date.
