Superyachts Channel Preview: The Unmissable Yacht Debuts at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025

-

The countdown is on for the Cannes Yachting Festival, returning from 9–14 September 2025 to the glittering shores of the Côte d’Azur. As always, Cannes promises an unparalleled celebration of design, craftsmanship, and maritime innovation—with the world’s most prestigious shipyards choosing this event to reveal their latest masterpieces.

From Port Vieux to Port Canto, expect the docks to be lined with groundbreaking launches, global debuts, and jaw-dropping upgrades across the full spectrum of yachting.

Superyachts Channel takes you inside the premieres we’re most excited about—whether it’s an avant-garde explorer yacht, an all-electric game-changer, or a reimagined flagship from an iconic builder.

Juno’s 7

Builder: Benetti
Length:
44.1m

The first 44.1-metre model from Benetti’s new “Class” range, Juno’s 7 was delivered to her owner in March this year. She was sold by Northrop & Johnson in 2023 just days after the Italian yachting giant lifted the wraps on the flagship model, which is now the yard’s largest GRP construction. Renowned Benetti collaborator Giorgio M. Cassetta is responsible for the exterior and interior, where the use of large, transparent surfaces – like the mirrors on the hull sides in the main saloon – reflect the light and the water, giving the appearance of a brighter space.

Singolare

Builder: Tankoa Yachts
Length: 45m

The second yacht in the Italian yard’s T450 series, Singolare, will also be making her debut – following in the footsteps of Go, which was delivered this time last year. Tankoa’s T450 was designed by Italian studio Giorgio M. Cassetta, customised to reflect her South American owner’s lifestyle, with interiors by Brazilian architect Debora Aguiar. A signature feature of the yacht’s design is the hardtop, which creates a fully enclosed veranda that transforms into a climate-controlled saloon.

RJ

Builder: Cantiere delle Marche (CDM)
Length:
46.9m

At 46.9 metres,  RJ is the Italian yard’s largest project to date – and marks the largest yacht making her global debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival so far. True to her “pure-bred” explorer capabilities, the yacht boasts an impressive 5,000 nautical-mile-plus range and features a steel hull and “top-tier” equipment. Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski penned the RJ range’s signature lines, although this model is distinguished by her elongated overhangs and oversized stern verandas. Italian studio Pierluigi Ausonio has handled naval architecture, while the interiors are styled by Achille Salvagni, with an owner’s brief that specified accommodation for up to 12 guests in five cabins. She is an evolution of the owner’s former RJ 130, which was launched in 2021 as RJ (now Nuri).

Big Naan

Builder: Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts
Length:
42m

The first unit in the Columbus Crossover 42 series, christened Big Naan, was sold to her American owner in 2023. Italian studio Hydro Tec is responsible for the model’s “modern and muscular” exterior, while Milanese studio Hot Lab has styled her interiors. There’s a concentration of volume in the bow area (as is typical of explorers), and the yacht’s “extremely flexible dimensions” are seen best in the cockpit. This is able to accommodate a large tender with a built-in stern crane – as well as a 10-square-metre swimming pool, arranged with sunpads and sofa seating.

Even Further

The Amer 41 steel explorer was revealed at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show

Builder: Permare
Length:
41.3m

First revealed during the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show – having been commissioned for a repeat client of Luiz de Basto, who previously owned the 46.5-metre Inace yacht Far Far Away – the first unit in Permare’s Amer 41 Steel Explorer series will have a full-circle moment as she makes her debut in Cannes. The 41.3-metre superyacht Even Further’s naval architecture and engineering have been headed up by Italian company Optima Design. Tender storage was central to the client’s brief and the traditional beach club was forgone to instead extend the flybridge area to create a spacious al fresco setting for the client.

Andiamo

Builder: Sanlorenzo
Length:
40.7m

At 40.7 metres, the first unit in the SD132 series, named Andiamo, is the largest composite, semi-displacement yacht built by the Italian shipyard. “[Continuing] the legacy” of its smaller siblings, the model is characterised by an impressive volume of 420GT – with a particular highlight being the beach club configuration, which is connected seamlessly to the aft cockpit and features a television-equipped bar and lounge seating area. Further notable areas include the use of lateral terraces, which, once opened, offer guests a large walkable surface of 70 square metres and free the cockpit from any visual obstacles for far-reaching ocean views.

Ocean Angel

Builder: Ocean King
Length:
40.4m

Built in steel and aluminium, the Italian yard’s second Doge 400 GT model, named Ocean Angel, will also be making her debut in Cannes. While the exterior is by Design aLOT, interiors are the work of BURDISSOCAPPONI. Leisure highlights include a spacious beach area with two fold-out balconies, a sauna and Hammam, a gym and a tender garage. This space can also transform into a technical area, thanks to a 1.2-ton telescopic crane integrated into the ceiling, designed to easily handle a 6.25-metre tender.

Hargrave 125

Builder: Hargrave Superyachts, a division of Hargrave Custom Yachts
Length: 38m

Known as Project 125, the tri-deck yacht marks the latest addition to HSY Yachts’ growing portfolio of custom superyachts. With a beam of 7.92 metres and a draught of 1.95 metres, the yacht is designed to be Bahamas-friendly, allowing easy navigation through shallow waters and she offers 330GT of interior volume with ceiling heights of around 2.2 metres. Notable amenities include a full-size beach club equipped with a sauna, steam shower and day-head, as well as dedicated bow storage for a tender and two Jet Skis.

Maiora 36 Exuma

Builder: Maiora
Length:
36.9m

Currently in build and sold to her new owner last week (15 July), the fifth unit from the Maiora 36 Exuma series is another debut taking place at Cannes this year. Construction began on speculation in 2024 by Italian shipyard and brand of Next Yacht Group, Maiora, with the yacht brought to life from a “bold explorer” design by Italian studio Quartostile. Interiors by Acube Design showcase contemporary, curvaceous lines and a “soothing” colour palette, with an onboard highlight being the climate-controlled skylounge on the flybridge that can transform into an open-air space.

SL SX120

Builder: Sanlorenzo
Length:
36.6m

Sanlorenzo unveiled the flagship model in its crossover range in July this year, unmasking the four-deck series designed by Zuccon International Project and Piero Lissoni. Alongside a design which is said to “totally rethink” onboard space, the first SX120 unit is also the first to be fitted with Volvo Penta’s new IPS (Inboard Performance System) – a propulsion platform designed to deliver the performance of larger engines with a smaller footprint. However, it may be the beach club with pop-up pool and opening terraces that draws attention in Cannes.

Lalabe

Builder: Van der Valk
Length:
35.3m

Based on the same hull design as the Dutch yard’s award-winning Lady Lene, with naval architecture by Guido de Groot, the custom 35.3-metre Lalabe was commissioned by highly experienced owners who sought a yacht to “provide three generations of a family with the most relaxing rhythms of life on the water”. As a result, the new build features a five-cabin layout inside, with outdoor spaces (which were a main focus of her design) including integrated balconies, a large custom swimming platform and an aft deck “relaxation lounge zone” with a beach club and sauna below. She was delivered in July 2025.

Riva 112 Dolcevita Super

Builder: Riva
Length:
34.4m

The first unit from the Italian yard’s 112 Dolcevita Super model hit the water last week (18 July), revealing her sporty and assertive Officina Italiana Design exterior. In what the yard claims to be a “radical restyling”, the 34.4-metre is the first to showcase the model’s several USPs, including a large beach club with an “ultra-low” 35-square-metre platform and a main saloon in one of two offered configurations.

Majesty 100 Terrace

Builder: Majesty Yachts
Length:
32.3m

Named as such for her multiple outdoor terraces, entertainment areas and fold-down balconies, the Majesty 100 Terrace was first unveiled at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, said to have similarities with the 34.1-metre Majesty 111. Aside from her exterior terraces, a noteworthy design element on board – penned by Dutch design agency Phathom Studio – is the glass-fronted owner’s cabin with skylights and its very own private terrace tucked into the bow.

Lazzara UHV 100

Builder: Lazzara Yachts
Length:
30.5m

Following in the footsteps of her smaller sistership, the UHV 87, the UHV 100 focuses on high-volume layouts with an additional six-person dip pool on the foredeck. A distinctive “trompe l’oeil” exterior that gives the illusion of an additional deck sets these models apart, yet it is not much of an illusion, as the UHV 100 offers “the greatest gross tonnage” in its size bracket at 225GT, according to her listing brokers, Fraser and Northrop & Johnson. Accommodation is for ten guests across a main deck master and four guest cabins.

Ferretti 940

Builder: Ferretti Yachts
Length: 29m

The design of the Ferretti 940 was first unveiled at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, with the sporty yacht now returning to the seaside commune for her grand debut. With a length of 29 metres and a beam of 6.8 metres, the Ferretti 940 has been praised for her five-cabin layout (accommodating 10), versatile exterior areas and striking floor-to-ceiling glazing. Exterior and interiors are by longstanding collaborators Filippo Salvetti and IdeaeITALIA, respectively, with renderings revealing warm, contemporary living spaces befitting a “seagoing home”.

AB95

Builder: AB Yachts
Length: 28.9m

First announced at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the AB95 is modelled after larger sistership AB110, retaining the yard’s sporty DNA but prioritising onboard liveability. This is best realised in the flybridge, where reverse glazing along the yacht’s profile creates airy interiors and offers an outlook over the sea, accessible from the aft deck via two external staircases. Vibrationless cruising, a draught of four metres and “loft-like” interiors have also been teased by the Italian yard.

Iva

Builder: Extra Yachts
Length: 26.7m

Gentle curves, sporty lines and “subdued” windows characterise this new model from Italian yard Extra Yachts. Milan-based studio Hot Lab is behind the exterior and interior design, with the latter offering “incomparable customisation” to others in her size bracket. All structural furniture has been underplayed to emphasise the views outside – Iva’s al fresco spaces span a stern cockpit, a sundeck with bar and an exclusive fore lounge.

Fleming 85

Builder: Fleming Yachts
Length: 25.9m

Making her European debut is the Fleming 85, the flagship build from Taiwanese yard Fleming Yachts. An entry-level pilothouse model, the Fleming 85 stands out for her solar panelling, which recharge the yacht’s lithium-ion batteries and keep the stabilisers running. Other highlights include the option of a completely enclosed or open-air flybridge, a tender davit and storage for fishing and diving gear. Naval architecture is by Australian studio Norman R. Wright & Sons.

Sunseeker Ocean 156

Builder: Sunseeker
Length: 25.1m

An entry-level addition to the British yard’s Ocean range, the Ocean 156 officially debuted in Southamption – but will be displayed at Cannes for the first time since her 2024 launch. The trideck model has “a much larger feeling of space than other yachts of this size” according to Sunseeker, thanks to a smart layout that prioritises multi-functional spaces. Of note is the main saloon, whose open-plan layout prioritises 360-degree views for a “penthouse apartment feel”. Her clean, contemporary interiors are by British studio Design Unlimited.

Sundance

Builder: Silent Yachts
Length: 24.4m

Described as the yard’s “most complex project to date”, Sundance was launched this month as the first in its solar-electric catamaran series, the SY80. The flagship model has two configurations that can allocate space either to the owner’s suite on the main deck or to a completely open-plan main saloon, with the master cabin instead located on the lower deck. Sundance has the latter, complete with a fully equipped bar and relaxed al fresco lounge. Twin sunpads on the upper deck, a hidden watertoy garage and four guest cabins (including a VIP) complete the list of leisure amenities.

Picchiotti 24

Builder: Picchiotti
Length: 24m

This model is the first in Picchiotti’s Gentleman line, a collection of designs meant to celebrate the “golden age of yachting”. The yacht has been penned by prolific Italian designer Luca Dini and will have an increased eco focus, with an ultra-efficient aluminium hull design and the option to include hybrid or full-electric propulsion. Little else is known about the build, which has been coined a “rebirth” for Picchiotti as one of Italy’s oldest established shipyards.

Stay tuned as we bring you the most exclusive coverage, onboard walkthroughs, and interviews with the visionaries behind the vessels —only on Superyachts Channel.
