The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated regattas in the global superyacht calendar. The Superyacht Cup Palma, Europe’s longest-running superyacht regatta, is charting new territory for its 29th edition, introducing a brand-new venue, exciting new entries, and the launch of dedicated racing classes that promise to electrify the 2025 event.

This year, the regatta moves to the newly redeveloped Club de Mar-Mallorca, a modern and prestigious setting in the heart of Palma. The relocation places all participating yachts — including crews, owners, and guests — dockside alongside the lively SYC Race Village, enhancing both the on-water spectacle and shoreside experience.
“We are always looking for new ways to improve and enhance the Superyacht Cup Palma experience,” said Kate Branagh, Event Director. “The opportunity to host all the racing yachts together at this iconic new location has generated more excitement than ever.”
Founded in 1972, Club de Mar-Mallorca has long been a hallmark of nautical excellence. Now in the fifth year of a major 360° transformation, the marina offers upgraded infrastructure, sustainable enhancements, and world-class services tailored to the needs of large sailing yachts.

⛵ New Classes, Iconic Yachts, and Legendary Competition
Among the headline updates for 2025 is the likely debut of a dedicated class for the Baltic 68 Café Racers — sleek 20.7m sloops designed by Javier Jaudenes, including Ganesha and Open Season. There’s also strong potential for a Hoek Design class, with Vijonara, Atalante, and the newly launched Linnea Aurora all expected to return.
Crowd favorites from previous editions like the Tripp-designed Cervo and the Wally Yacht Rose — a two-time back-to-back winner — are rumored to be back, with Rose chasing an unprecedented third consecutive title. She’ll face strong competition from first-timer Gelliceaux, a Southern Wind 108 that recently clinched overall victory at the St Barth Bucket 2024.
“We’re thrilled to debut at Superyacht Cup Palma — it’s an elite event with a great atmosphere, and this new venue makes it even more special,” said Clive Walker, Captain of Gelliceaux.
