Italian shipyard Codecasa has confirmed the start of construction on the seventh hull of its Codecasa 43 series. The 43-metre yacht, currently known as hull F82, is being built on speculation. Delivery is scheduled for spring 2028.
According to the shipyard, hull F82 builds on the most recent yachts in the series, including Gioia and Boji. Like its predecessors, the new yacht will feature a steel hull, an aluminium superstructure, and the shipyard’s signature vertical bow.
Design and layout
The Codecasa 43 is designed to offer generous interior volumes while remaining below 500GT. Large windows will allow natural light to flood the interior and enhance the sense of space. Living areas are spread across three decks and include two saloons, along with several lounge and relaxation areas.
Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests in five cabins. The layout includes four guest cabins and a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, in the model’s traditional position. Separate quarters provide accommodation for a crew of up to nine.
Performance and specifications
Power comes from twin 1,600hp Caterpillar C32 engines. The yacht is expected to reach a top speed of 16 knots at light displacement. At a cruising speed of 11 knots, it will offer a range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles.
Key dimensions include a nine-metre beam and a draught of three metres.
“With her clean and rigorous profile, in line with the style of the shipyard, this yacht offers the highest quality standards,” said Codecasa in a statement. “This applies both to the materials used and to the selection of interior and exterior equipment.”
Ongoing projects at Codecasa
Codecasa currently has four yachts under construction. The shipyard also marked an important milestone last year with the delivery of its first 33.5-metre Classic 110 yacht, Pleiades, further strengthening its position in the custom and semi-custom yacht market.
