Second Benetti Class 44M Superyacht Fortitude1 Launched

Benetti has launched Fortitude1, the second hull in its refined Class 44M series, from its Viareggio shipyard in Italy. The 44.1-metre superyacht – crafted in GRP and due for delivery this summer – continues the strong momentum for the storied Italian builder, coming just months after the debut of the series’ first unit, Juno’s 7.

A repeat client of the shipyard, the owner selected Benetti once again for its blend of timeless design, technical excellence, and cruising pedigree.

Sophisticated Italian Design
Giorgio M. Cassetta – a long-time Benetti design partner – was responsible for both the interior and exterior styling of Fortitude1. The yacht’s lines are bold yet elegant, updating the signature Class series aesthetic with custom features such as a large forward sunpad on the upper deck and expansive windows throughout.

Inside, the yacht features sleek, modern décor highlighted by clean lines, white marble flooring, and a neutral palette, all designed to maximise the sense of space and light. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a full-beam master suite. Large windows and low-profile bulwarks ensure a constant connection to the sea, particularly in the main saloon and lounge areas.

Relaxation and Range
Outdoor amenities include a generous beach club, a large main aft deck, and an alfresco dining area on the upper deck with seating for 10. With a range of 4,100 nautical miles and clever layout solutions, Fortitude1 is ideal for long-range cruising without sacrificing comfort or style.

Benetti sales director Daniela Petrozzi commented:

“Benetti is synonymous with quality, heritage, and innovation. That is why the owner has chosen us once again. The trust that clients place in us is a great source of pride.”

The launch comes during a particularly active season for Benetti, which recently announced the launch of the 49.9-metre XWave and is managing an impressive 53 superyacht projects currently in build.
