Oceanco Delivers 111m Superyacht DreAMBoat

Oceanco has officially delivered the 111-metre superyacht DreAMBoat, previously known as Project Y726. Now cruising with Gibraltar as her first destination, the flagship vessel marks one of the shipyard’s largest launches by volume to date, spanning 16 metres in beam and 4,550 GT. She represents the second yacht of the same name commissioned by her experienced owner — a rare continuation of trust between client and shipyard.

Commissioned in February 2022, DreAMBoat transitioned from first briefing to delivery within just 45 months, setting a new benchmark at Oceanco for a yacht of this size and complexity. The yard credits the record build time — estimated at 18 months shorter than a typical project of this scale — to seamless collaboration across all stakeholders.

“At Oceanco, we believe that great yachts come from great relationships,” said Oceanco CEO Marcel Onkenhout. “Having already built one yacht with the owner, we had a strong foundation and quickly aligned on vision. This created an enjoyable and productive environment in which the owner’s dream could be realised.”

Design and Onboard Experience

Exterior architecture is the work of Espen Øino, who crafted a timeless, elegant profile. The interiors — designed by Mark Berryman — are described as “warm, refined and family-focused”, balancing luxury with comfort across expansive living areas.

Accommodation is arranged for 28 guests and 34 crew, with amenities that include:

  • Cinema lounge
  • Spa, gym, sauna & steam room
  • Winter garden and cocktail lounge
  • Private owner’s deck with Jacuzzi
  • Multi-purpose entertainment deck with Jacuzzi & swimming pool
  • State-of-the-art golf simulator on the sundeck
  • Beach club with bar opening directly onto the swim platform

Naval architecture was completed by Lateral Naval Architects in collaboration with Oceanco and the owner’s long-time representative, Dan Jackson of Falcon Yacht Management.

DreAMBoat is a testament to extraordinary coordination — aligning countless technical interfaces within a compressed schedule,” said Lee Archer, Programme Director at Lateral. “This project shows how expert teams succeed when united by shared purpose.”

A Step Forward in Sustainable Superyacht Construction

Sustainability played a significant role in the yacht’s development. Oceanco partnered with Royal Haskoning to create the first Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool specifically for superyachts, measuring environmental impact across both construction and operational lifetime. The model guided major decisions on DreAMBoat, including:

  • A battery pack for peak-shaving to reduce emissions
  • Sustainable interior finishes from Nature Squared
  • Optimised energy management throughout the vessel

These systems will now support the foundation of Oceanco’s future sustainability strategy.

Celebrating Collaboration

“My relationship with Oceanco started out great and only grew stronger,” shared the owner. “They listened, and I could feel that they cared about my personal vision. It is deeply rewarding to watch your ideas come to life with a partner like Oceanco.”

Oceanco’s Project Director Edske Smit praised the transparency and pace of decision-making, noting the owner’s exceptionally fast approvals and highly engaged approach.

Captain Andre Salt added: “Oceanco, the designers, the owner’s team and every individual involved have created not only an engineering masterpiece but a genuine work of art. Delivering DreAMBoat in a record four years is a testament to passion and collaboration.”

A Busy Season for Oceanco

The delivery of DreAMBoat follows just days after Oceanco handed over the 111-metre Leviathan, underscoring an exceptionally active and productive period for the Dutch builder.
