Renowned designer Jay Aberdoni has unveiled his latest superyacht concept, the 50-metre Mediterranean cruiser Elacca. Designed to embrace outdoor living, Elacca boasts expansive exterior decking spanning 470 square metres, featuring open-air terraces, a tranquil crow’s nest for quiet reading, and a bow pool surrounded by sunpads and casual seating areas.
“Elacca steps away from overly designed looks to reveal a world of space, light, and a seamless connection to the sea,” said Aberdoni. “Here, luxury goes beyond the physical and becomes an experience.”
A Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Experience
One of the standout features of Elacca is its thoughtfully designed al fresco spaces. The upper deck houses a lounge area partially shaded by a hardtop, a stylish sit-up bar, and a dip pool with integrated sunpads. Several additional lounge spaces are spread across the yacht’s three outdoor decks, including the main deck aft and its inviting swim platform.
Inside, Elacca offers accommodation for up to 10 guests, with interiors that exude a relaxed, beachy atmosphere. Renderings reveal light-toned woods, low-profile furniture, and flowing muslin drapes, emphasizing an airy, sophisticated feel. The bulwarks around the yacht can transform into drop-down balconies, and when paired with sliding glass panels, they create an immersive indoor-outdoor living experience.
Owner’s Private Retreat & Smart Design Features
A unique element of Elacca is its bow-located tender garage. Once the tender is deployed, the garage space transforms into a private terrace for the owner’s suite, offering an exclusive waterside retreat.
