The fifth edition of the Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta is already shaping up to be the most exciting yet. Scheduled for 18–21 September 2025 at the iconic Marina Ibiza, the event has officially closed registrations four months in advance, having reached the maximum limit of 22 yachts, with an additional 13 yachts on the waiting list.
This unprecedented demand reaffirms Ibiza JoySail’s rapid evolution into one of the most coveted regattas on the Mediterranean superyacht circuit, blending thrilling racing with the unmistakable flair and energy of Ibiza.
A Fleet Full of Firsts and Favorites
The regatta will welcome a spectacular mix of new entrants and returning champions. Nearly half the fleet are first-time participants, including standouts like:
- Kiboko 4, the sensational SW108 and Sailing Yacht of the Year at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards
- Anomaly, the striking ex-Ribelle, designed by Malcolm McKeon and built by Vitters
- Cervo, the largest yacht in this year’s fleet at 128 feet, also from Vitters
- Magic Blue, a 94-foot Wally Yacht designed by Reichel/Pugh
- Spiip, a 107-foot Baltic by Mani Frers, representing modern Argentine design excellence
Meanwhile, the returning contenders bring fierce experience and prestige. Among them:
- Moat, the Swan 115 that has dominated Ibiza JoySail with four consecutive victories
- Open Season and Ganesha, representing the sleek Café Racer class
- Gelliceaux, the SW108 that’s logged over 12,000 nautical miles since her 2023 launch
- Jasi, Morgana, Aurelius, Liberty Squared, Nostromo, Shambho, Viento, and more
