Italian design studio Gloss Design has revealed the renderings and key details of its latest superyacht concept, the 90-metre Up.Stars — a bold vision of next-generation yacht design that pushes contemporary boundaries through clarity of form, spatial balance and lifestyle-led architecture.

True to its ambitious name, Up.Stars showcases a sleek, elongated profile defined by a slender silhouette, an extended foredeck and a powerful aft presence. The concept reflects Gloss Design’s ongoing evolution toward simplified lines and reduced ornamentation, allowing proportions, volumes and spatial hierarchy to take centre stage.
“Over the years, our research in yacht design has evolved towards the simplification of lines and the reduction of decorative elements, focusing instead on the balance between lines and volumes,” said Stefano Carugno, Founder and Design Director of Gloss Design.
Three zones, three experiences
The yacht’s design narrative is organised around three distinct zones — bow, midships and aft — each offering a unique onboard experience.
At the bow, a strong and masculine form conveys a sense of power and protection. This area is entirely dedicated to the owner, conceived as a private retreat separate from guest spaces. The panoramic foredeck features a Jacuzzi, generous sunbathing areas and direct access to the helipad, reinforcing the yacht’s human-centred design philosophy.
Midships form the architectural heart of Up.Stars. Expansive glazing floods the interiors with natural light, while a full-beam, double-height lobby creates an immediate sense of openness and grandeur. With an estimated volume of approximately 2,750 GT, the yacht is designed to accommodate up to 16 guests, supported by a crew of 25, including the captain.
Aft lifestyle platform
At the stern, Up.Stars delivers a powerful connection to the sea. This social and experiential hub is anchored by a large swimming pool and a cascading waterfall that visually draws guests toward the ocean. Designed as the yacht’s primary lifestyle platform, the open stern offers an inviting space for relaxation, socialising and immersive sea-level experiences.
The sundeck further enhances outdoor living, featuring uninterrupted sea views, a Jacuzzi, bar, sun lounges and open-air dining areas. Meanwhile, the lower deck is dedicated to a fully equipped beach club, allowing guests to step directly into the water and enjoy a wide selection of water toys.
“With Up.Stars, Gloss Design presents a concept that goes beyond styling alone,” Carugno concluded. “It proposes a holistic vision of contemporary superyacht living, where architecture, privacy and lifestyle are carefully orchestrated into a coherent and forward-looking design.”
