Turkish shipyard ADA Yacht Works has officially launched Legasea, the first unit in its new 50-metre ADA 50 Z series. The milestone launch took place at the yard’s facility in Bodrum, Turkey, marking a major achievement for the custom yacht builder.
Sold in 2023, Legasea brings together an esteemed team of collaborators: exterior styling by Uldas Yacht Design, interiors by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, and naval architecture from Ginton Naval Architects. Engineering was led by Norse Design, while Homeport Yacht Management oversaw the project as managers.
With a volume just under 500GT, Legasea offers generous accommodations for up to 12 guests in six well-appointed staterooms. Highlights include a full-beam owner’s suite with its own private balcony, Jacuzzi, and panoramic windows, offering a luxurious retreat with ocean views. The crew quarters accommodate up to 10 staff in five cabins, ensuring seamless service throughout each voyage.
One of the yacht’s standout features is her expansive beach club, fitted with a central plunge pool and flanked by loungers. To enhance the connection to the sea, hydraulic wings open outward to expand the area. A second pool is located on the foredeck, complemented by fixed sunpads for ultimate relaxation.
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Legasea is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots. Her sleek profile and robust engineering balance luxury with performance, making her ideal for private cruising or charter.
Two additional hulls in the ADA 50 Z series are currently under construction and are scheduled for delivery in late 2025 and early 2026, continuing the evolution of this striking new line of semi-custom superyachts from ADA Yacht Works.
