Feadship’s newest 100-metre marvel, Project 824, has been sighted once again as she makes her way through the scenic Dutch waterways following her launch from the Royal Van Lent facility in Kaag earlier this month.

This marks the second transport phase for the secretive superyacht, which was previously seen in September 2023 en route to Kaag for outfitting. Now nearing completion, Project 824 is expected to begin sea trials in the North Sea soon.

While Feadship remains tight-lipped about many of the project’s finer details, key players behind the design have now been confirmed. Her sleek exterior, featuring a plumb bow and streamlined, modern profile, is the work of Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsen, whose style echoes that of the 77-metre Feadship 818. Inside, the design is being handled by renowned French studio Liaigre, though her interior layout and décor remain under wraps.

Key features revealed so far include:
- A slanted transom with a dramatic staircase leading to the main deck
- A superyacht pool on the aft deck
- Rectangular cut-outs in the deck overhangs for enhanced light flow
- A forward tender garage with launch via shell doors
- A beach club with unfolding balconies
Notably, Project 824 is outfitted with a diesel-electric propulsion system using ABB pod drives, engineered for high-efficiency, low-vibration cruising. The yacht has a 13.6-metre beam and a 4.1-metre draught, showcasing Feadship’s focus on both performance and comfort.
Ordered in 2021, Project 824 is part of a larger wave of innovation from the iconic Dutch yard, which currently has 16 yachts in development. Among them is the 79.5-metre Project 715, now christened Valor, representing Feadship’s growing interest in the explorer yacht market.
As Project 824 moves closer to delivery, she stands as yet another symbol of Feadship’s unparalleled craftsmanship and dedication to pushing the boundaries of modern yacht design. All eyes will be on her when she finally emerges from sea trials – a potential future icon of the superyacht world.
