Italian yard Extra Yachts, part of Palumbo Superyachts, has presented its latest design: the X145 Global, a 44-metre next-generation explorer yacht set to redefine onboard living with its innovative layout.
A Revolutionary Space Concept
Spanning five decks, the X145 Global introduces a “game-changing” distribution of guest areas. Unlike traditional layouts, all five guest cabins are positioned on the main deck, allowing guests to enjoy the full width of the yacht’s 9.1-metre beam.
Meanwhile, the owner’s suite has been elevated to the bridge deck, ensuring privacy while benefitting from its own private terrace. This reconfiguration delivers a fresh balance between intimacy and sociability onboard.
Bold Exterior, Refined Interiors
The yacht’s exterior, penned by Agon Studio, is marked by a strong vertical bow, steel hull and low bulwarks, giving the yacht an authoritative explorer presence.
Inside, Milanese design studio Hot Lab has created a serene interior atmosphere with soft geometries, natural tones and contemporary oriental details. Expansive glazing ensures an abundance of natural light, complemented by an open-plan layout that maximises spaciousness and flow.
Social Living and Outdoor Luxury
The upper deck lounge serves as the yacht’s social heart, with 360-degree views, aft sofa seating and a forward dining area connected by a striking floating-effect staircase.
At the stern, an 80-square-metre beach club unfolds directly onto the sea, complete with fold-down platforms and flexible furniture arrangements.
Toys, Tenders & Crew Comfort
A large aft garage accommodates an 8.5-metre tender, rescue boat, two Jet Skis and a full suite of water toys. Below deck, four double en suite crew cabins ensure operational efficiency, alongside a professional galley and space for an optional gym.
