Benetti Unveils 40m B.Neos – A Motor Yacht with Sailing Yacht DNA

Benetti has taken the spotlight at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 with the reveal of its latest creation – the 40-metre B.Neos, a motor yacht concept that draws direct inspiration from the elegance and quietude of sailing yachts.

Designed in collaboration with Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design, the B.Neos features a plumb bow, low-profile superstructure, expansive glazing and dramatic overhanging aft decks – a sleek profile that breaks from convention.

Its name, derived from the Greek word néos (“new, young, fresh”), signals Benetti’s aim to attract a new generation of yacht owners with a focus on technology, sustainability, and design purity.

Inside, Francesca Muzio of FM Architettura has crafted a minimalist, functional interior that Benetti describes as “welcoming and intelligently distributed.” Hybrid propulsion ensures a near-silent experience at anchor, echoing the peaceful ambiance of a sailing yacht.

“B.Neos represents a new approach that looks ahead,” said Giovanna Vitelli, chair of the Azimut|Benetti Group. “We wanted the sleek proportions of sailing yachts and the pleasure of silence, avoiding the pursuit of volume at any cost.”

The unveiling comes at a busy time for Benetti, with 45 superyachts currently under construction or on order and projected 2025 revenues of €1.5 billion – a 15% year-on-year increase.
