The second 72.6-metre Admiral superyacht designed by the late Giorgio Armani has been launched and christened Geco, marking the completion of a unique two-yacht collaboration between the Italian fashion icon and The Italian Sea Group’s Admiral brand.

The news was announced by brokerage firm IYC, which also confirmed that Geco will enter the charter market following delivery, scheduled for May 2026. Charter management will be overseen by Xenia Tsipidou, head of charter management in Greece for IYC.
The yacht was sold in December 2020 to a buyer represented by IYC, with construction beginning in January 2023. Upon delivery, Geco will join her sistership No Rush, the first yacht from the Armani-designed collection, which launched in May 2025 and was sold later that year.
A signature collaboration
The collaboration between Admiral and Giorgio Armani was unveiled in February 2023, with both 72-metre projects already under construction at the time. Each yacht features a full-displacement steel hull with aluminium superstructure, defined by refined geometric volumes and gently curved surfaces that reflect Armani’s distinctive aesthetic.
Among the standout design elements are an ice-class hull, long-range cruising capabilities and the signature “suspended terrace” concept on the upper decks, which incorporates an open-air lounge and a helicopter landing area. Onboard amenities include a fully equipped gym, a spa complete with sauna and steam room, a dedicated cinema and a large beach club providing seamless access to the water.
Interior elegance and guest experience
With a volume of 1,950GT, Geco offers expansive interior and exterior living spaces designed for relaxation, socialising and extended stays on board. IYC highlighted the yacht’s appeal for families and multi-generational groups, citing her kid-friendly layout and extensive selection of water toys.
The interiors, designed by Giorgio Armani in collaboration with Centro Stile of The Italian Sea Group, feature custom Rubelli fabrics paired with wood and natural stone finishes. Accommodation is provided for 12 guests across seven cabins, including a 140-square-metre owner’s suite with a private saloon and an outdoor deck featuring a six-metre swimming pool. Each guest cabin showcases its own palette of fabrics and stone, blending soft blue tones, neutral hues and refined silver and gold accents. Crew accommodation is arranged for 21.
“Embodying Admiral’s Ultra Custom philosophy, Geco combines timeless elegance, geometric precision and bespoke design to create a vessel of unmatched sophistication,” said a spokesperson for IYC.
Performance and construction
Geco is capable of a maximum speed of 16.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a transoceanic range of 6,000 nautical miles. Comfort is enhanced by stabilisers both underway and at anchor.
The launch comes as The Italian Sea Group continues a busy build schedule, with 15 yachts currently on order or under construction, including the 100-metre Hull 597, formerly known as Project Titanium.
