Baglietto, the renowned Italian shipyard, has officially launched the seventh hull in its acclaimed 40.9-metre DOM 133 series. Christened Sui Generis, this striking motor yacht made waves at the yard’s La Spezia facilities with her commanding cobalt blue hull and superstructure — a bold departure from her sisterships.

This launch marks the seventh yacht delivered by Baglietto in 2025 alone, following hot on the heels of the DOM 133 Andala, launched just last month. Yet, Sui Generis stands apart, not only for her masculine, four-deck silhouette cloaked in an eye-catching deep blue but also for her extensively customised interior and layout.
Signature DOM 133 Features — and More
Like her predecessors, Sui Generis maintains the core features that have made the DOM 133 series one of the most in-demand platforms on the market:
- Expansive interior volumes
- A spectacular two-level beach club with an infinity pool and lifting floor
- Panoramic windows that open onto private terraces
However, Sui Generis goes further in its bespoke enhancements. Notably, the two VIP cabins on the lower deck can be combined via a sliding partition to create a second full-beam master suite — a rare and flexible layout feature.
The central staircase has also been structurally reimagined to enlarge the foyer, creating a gallery-like space to showcase a bespoke piece of art. On the sundeck, the owner requested a fully custom-designed pool, further setting Sui Generis apart as a deeply personal and highly tailored vessel.
Baglietto’s in-house design team executed the interiors, ensuring every detail matched the owner’s exacting standards.
Power, Presence, and Personality
“Sui Generis perfectly embodies the spirit of the DOM 133 line,” said Baglietto Chief Commercial Officer Fabio Ermetto. “She is modern, elegant, and above all, deeply customisable — a testament to the evolving expectations of today’s discerning superyacht clientele.”
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, Sui Generis reaches a top speed of 17 knots. Her delivery is part of a surge in activity at Baglietto’s shipyard, which currently has two more DOM 133 units under construction for delivery in 2026 and 2027.
As the DOM 133 series continues to evolve with each new hull, Sui Generis stands as a bold expression of what’s possible when innovation meets individuality — and Italian craftsmanship remains at its finest.
