Arcadia Yachts launches first A80new yacht model

-

Italian shipyard Arcadia Yachts has launched the first unit of its highly anticipated A80new series, marking a milestone as the yard’s first raised pilothouse design. Measuring 24 metres, the yacht will be delivered to her owner in the coming weeks before making her official debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.

Smart Size, Smart Design

The A80new has been conceived with a LOA of 23.98 metres, a length carefully chosen to allow owners greater flexibility when mooring and cruising, particularly in the Mediterranean, while remaining compliant with the latest environmental regulations protecting seagrass.

A wide-body layout maximises usable space and fluidity between interior and exterior areas, with special emphasis placed on storage and practicality. The A80new also advances Arcadia’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, boasting solar panels that deliver a 90% increase in efficiency compared to earlier models and a 27% reduction in fuel consumption at 15 knots.

Outdoor Living at Its Heart

Designed with Mediterranean cruising in mind, the A80new prioritises outdoor spaces. Her sundeck introduces Arcadia’s first external helm station, complemented by a TV lounge, optional minibar, shaded dining area, and generous sunbathing arrangements. A bow lounge with an optional Bimini adds further relaxation space, while the main deck features additional alfresco seating and an easy-access swim platform with unfolding bulwarks.

A multi-functional garage for tenders and water toys enhances her explorer credentials — a feature Arcadia points out is a rarity in this size category.

Contemporary Interiors and Accommodation

Inside, the A80new offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across four lower-deck guest cabins and a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, complete with a vanity, en suite, and walk-in wardrobe. Quarters for four crew members are also included, reflecting the yard’s recognition that service levels become increasingly important in yachts above 24 metres.

Performance and Specs

With a volume of 131GT and a draft of 1.8 metres, the A80new is designed for versatile cruising. Depending on propulsion package, she achieves a top speed of 19–21 knots, blending efficiency with performance.

The launch of the A80new underscores Arcadia Yachts’ reputation for delivering eco-conscious yachts that combine innovation, practicality, and Mediterranean lifestyle design.
