AB Yachts Launches Second 34m AB110 Sportfly Model

-

AB Yachts, a brand under the Next Yacht Group umbrella, has unveiled the second hull in its sleek AB110 series — a high-performance 33.5-metre sportfly model that builds on the design and success of its award-winning predecessor.

The first hull in the AB110 range made a splash at last year’s World Superyacht Awards, impressing judges with its bold design and dynamic capabilities. The second hull continues that momentum, combining cutting-edge naval architecture with a refined, lifestyle-forward layout by Archea Associati.

Performance Meets Sophisticated Design

The AB110 is crafted in lightweight composite materials, enabling maximum speeds of 43 to 45 knots — a defining characteristic of AB Yachts. Drawing from the DNA of smaller models like the AB100, this yacht amplifies the experience with an extended flybridge designed for relaxed cruising and panoramic sea views.

Her exterior lines reflect a distinctly sporty, aggressive stance, while the interior layout remains fluid and connected to the outdoors. A signature element is the versatile aft deck, which seamlessly transforms from a relaxed lounge to a beach club setup, emphasizing flexibility in the owner’s experience onboard.

Accommodation & Comfort

The yacht sleeps 10 guests across four staterooms, including a full-beam master suite and VIP cabin. Crew quarters accommodate four. While the interiors of this specific unit remain under wraps, the first hull was noted for its “light, bright, and loft-like” ambience — setting a high bar for style and spatial comfort.

Other highlights include:

  • 6.8m beam for generous interior volume
  • 1.3m draught, granting access to shallow anchorages and remote bays
  • A forward sunpad and ample walkaround decks for open-air enjoyment
  • A social flybridge ideal for sunbathing and al fresco dining

What’s Next for AB Yachts

This launch comes during a busy production phase for the Italian yard, which has nine yachts currently in build or on order. Two of these are from the AB110 series, while the flagship AB130, also promising remarkable speeds and custom design, is slated for delivery later this year.

As the market continues to lean into performance-oriented yachting with no compromise on style and comfort, AB Yachts is proving that speed and sophistication can go hand in hand.
