Lürssen Launches 117m Superyacht Boardwalk

German shipyard Lürssen has officially launched the impressive 117-metre superyacht Boardwalk, previously known as Project 13797, from its Lemwerder facilities. Commissioned in 2022 by an American owner, the vessel has been kept highly confidential—yet the name strongly suggests she is the successor to the owner’s former yachts Boardwalk: the 76.5-metre Feadship (now Night Howl) and a Westport 164 before that.

Newly released images reveal a sleek, striking white profile spread across six expansive decks, showcasing signature Lürssen proportions and an unmistakable presence on the water. Key features include:

  • Two helipads
  • A large aft-deck pool with an adjoining spa pool
  • A generous beach club offering direct access to the sea
  • A steel and aluminium construction, engineered for long-range performance

While technical details remain undisclosed, the yacht is understood to have an extraordinary gross tonnage of approximately 5,350GT, placing her among the most voluminous yachts in her size category. With her 117 metres, she becomes the 20th largest yacht ever built by Lürssen, surpassing Ahpo by almost a full metre.

Delivery is scheduled for early 2026, marking another milestone in Lürssen’s ongoing legacy of constructing some of the world’s most significant and technologically advanced superyachts.
