At the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, Ulyssia Residences AG unveiled fresh insights into its ambitious 320-metre residential superyacht project, developed in partnership with Espen Øino and Meyer Werft. Slated to begin construction next year and launch in 2030, Ulyssia is set to become the world’s largest yacht, offering a unique concept that blends the exclusivity of superyacht living with the vibrancy of a global residential community.

A new model for ocean living
Unlike a cruise ship, Ulyssia will be a continuously voyaging superyacht under Swiss flag, with residents actively curating its itinerary. “She is a 320-metre yacht, the largest yacht in the world… travelling continuously, on an itinerary that the owners themselves design,” said Frank Binder, founder and chairman of Ulyssia. Ownership is structured as a shared freehold, with residents owning their apartments in perpetuity. Already, around half of the 133 residences and 22 guest suites have been sold.

Residences range from 110 to 953 square metres, with one- to six-bedroom layouts, custom interiors by FM Architettura, and contributions from world-renowned designers including Rémi Tessier, Lenny Kravitz, Sabrina Monte Carlo, Jean-Michel Gathy and Jenan Interiors.
Lifestyle, wellness, and community
From Chenot-led wellness facilities with advanced medical care to EYOS Expeditions guiding exploration, Ulyssia aims to deliver a holistic lifestyle. Amenities will include:

- Indoor and outdoor pools, padel, pickleball & multi-use courts
- Golf club and 600m jogging track
- Signature wine cellar, rotating guest chefs & fine dining venues
- Theatre, library, conference spaces & full marina with yacht club
- Submersibles, helicopters, and a wide range of toys for global exploration

Education and family living are central to the vision, with facilities for lectures, home-schooling, and cultural learning to attract a multi-generational community.

Sustainability at the core
The project also places strong emphasis on eco-innovation. Hybrid propulsion with flex-fuel options, solar integration, energy recovery systems and advanced hull design will ensure Ulyssia is “the most sustainable yacht ever built at delivery.”
A global journey
With a shallow draft and unique proportions, Ulyssia will be able to cruise the Amazon, transit the Panama Canal, and pass under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Shore-based operations, logistics and resident support will be overseen by a 40-strong team, while VistaJet will manage global private aviation links for seamless resident travel.
As COO Renato W. Chizzola put it: “It could be the world’s most luxurious hotel, the most remote resort, or the most exclusive private club… Ulyssia is all of this.”
