Feadship’s latest masterpiece, the 71.8-metre Stella M, formerly known as Project 827, has officially embarked on sea trials off the Dutch coast following her launch from the builder’s Amsterdam facility.

Built on-spec in 2022 and sold by Burgess a mere six weeks after entering the market in July 2023, Stella M is set for delivery this August—marking another swift and seamless transaction for Feadship and its future-forward production strategy.
“From the moment we released information about Stella M, several clients jumped at the opportunity,” said Maarten Janssen, Feadship’s sales director. “Her new owner was drawn to the short delivery time and the chance to skip the waitlist—plus, the layout and design perfectly fit his vision for a family yacht.”
Design: Where Japandi Meets Precision Engineering
Stella M’s design is a striking blend of East and West—a marriage of Scandinavian warmth and Japanese minimalism, or “Japandi” as the shipyard calls it. Her profile, penned by Studio De Voogt, features a sharp bow and sleek raked-back superstructure, giving her an assertive yet refined presence on the water.

The interior, envisioned by FM Architettura d’Interni, complements this vision with soft, earthy tones, natural textures, and an innovative longitudinal main saloon layout that places both the formal dining and lounge spaces side-by-side, maximizing volume and social flexibility.
Wellness & Layout: Family-Centric Innovation
Access to the yacht begins from a generous swim platform, where guests can choose a grand staircase leading to the main deck—or activate a hidden entrance that reveals a dedicated wellness space, cleverly situated between the beach club and the main staircase.

Key features include:
- Seven cabins, including two VIPs and four luminous main-deck staterooms
- Dedicated owner’s deck with wraparound views, private breakfast terrace, and hot tub
- Two swimming pools, including a panoramic sundeck version with oversized sunpads
- “Japandi” styling with natural materials and intuitive flow throughout
A Growing Feadship Fleet
Stella M is one of 15 active projects underway at Feadship’s facilities, with deliveries stretching through 2027. Among them is the highly anticipated 132-metre flagship and major debuts for the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, including Breakthrough (the world’s first hydrogen-powered superyacht) and Valor, a bold “zero-emission” explorer.

As Stella M moves through sea trials, all eyes are on Feadship once again—not just for their engineering precision, but for how seamlessly they align innovation, design, and fast-track delivery in a market that rarely waits.
