Numarine Launches Flagship Explorer Yacht Miouch

-

Turkish shipyard Numarine has officially launched Miouch, the first hull of its new 40MXP series and the largest yacht ever built by the yard. The launch took place at Numarine’s facility in Gebze, with Miouch setting a new standard for the brand’s explorer fleet.

An evolution of the successful 37XP model, the 39.1-metre Miouch delivers what chairman Ömer Malaz describes as a “high-volume, low-maintenance and long-range” vessel—tailor-made for adventurous owners seeking style and substance.

Designed by Can Yalman, both inside and out, Miouch offers a bolder, more luxurious layout with extended aft decks, including a standout glass-fronted dip pool on the upper deck. The extra two metres over the 37XP model allow for expansive outdoor living areas with a bar, lounge, al fresco dining, and direct water access via a hydraulic swim platform.

“Her new aft layout offers owners an additional way of enjoying everything our XPs deliver – it’s the perfect spot to relax when you just want to chill with family and friends by the water,” said Malaz.

Another defining feature is her global cruising capability. Thanks to a highly efficient hull form by Umberto Tagliavini, Miouch boasts a 6,000-nautical-mile transatlantic range at 8 knots, firmly positioning her as a “true global explorer.”

As a nod to her Mediterranean roots, the MXP—short for Mediterranean Explorer—reflects a beach-club-inspired lifestyle. The beach club and garage arrangement found on the 37XP has been replaced by the swim platform, allowing for direct access to the sea and space for a 9-metre tender and three Jet Skis, along with other water toys.

Inside, Miouch accommodates 12 guests across six suites, including a full-beam master on the main deck and a VIP on the lower deck. The interior is bathed in natural light and styled to reflect laid-back luxury.

“I’m happy that the market has exhibited a positive response to this model, with a notable influx of interested boat owners,” said Murat Şen, General Manager of Numarine. “Three 40MXP hulls were already sold before the first one was launched, which is a great success.”

With Miouch now in the water and 11 more yachts currently in build or on order, Numarine’s position in the luxury explorer market is stronger than ever. The 40MXP is not just a flagship—it’s a statement.
