Delta Marine launches a new generation of adventure yacht designed for deep-sea exploration and sharing the world’s most remote destinations.

US shipyard Delta Marine has launched the 46.3-metre Zembra at its Seattle facility, marking a major milestone for a yacht created with one clear purpose: to take her owners, family and friends far beyond the conventional cruising map.
Commissioned in 2023 by experienced yacht owners, Zembra has been designed for transoceanic voyages and deep-sea exploration, drawing on the owners’ previous experience aboard an Inace explorer and a Nordhavn 86.
Her distinctive metallic Arizona bronze finish, full-displacement hull and angular profile give Zembra a purposeful explorer character, while extensive glazing brings a more contemporary feel to the design.
Built for exploration
The yacht’s capabilities extend well beyond traditional luxury cruising. Her expedition equipment includes a dedicated helicopter landing area, a two-person ICON A5 amphibious aircraft and a three-person U-Boat Worx submersible for underwater exploration.
A 3,500-pound SWL boom crane on the bridge deck and a stern gantry crane provide the heavy lifting capability required to deploy the yacht’s toys and exploration equipment.

Inside, American designer Roger Thomas has created an intimate and sophisticated environment, combining custom cerused oak, stainless-steel details and bold patterned carpets.

Accommodation is for 12 guests across five staterooms, including a full-beam master suite and four guest cabins. One cabin is wheelchair accessible, while another can be transformed into a fitness space.
Designed for life at sea
An elevator connects all four decks, while the exterior spaces have been designed around long-range living.
The sundeck features a hot tub and generous gathering areas, while the bridge deck provides an outdoor dining space for extended meals surrounded by the landscape.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Zembra features a composite hull and zero-speed stabilisation for comfort both underway and at anchor.
But perhaps the most compelling aspect of Zembra is the philosophy behind her.
“Zembra isn’t just a yacht. It’s how we will share many incredible places we’ve explored that are only accessible by yacht with our grandchildren and dear friends.”
That vision captures the essence of today’s explorer-yacht market: luxury is no longer simply about where a yacht can take you, but how far it can take you — and what you can experience when you get there.
With Zembra, Delta Marine has delivered an explorer designed not just to cross oceans, but to open up an entirely different world of adventure.
