Greek designer Theodoros Fotiadis has unveiled August, an 87-metre motor yacht concept and the second in a new series planned for construction at the recently launched Astra Nord.

Inspired by the relaxed elegance of the Mediterranean summer, August combines clean German design lines with expansive outdoor living across five decks. A defining feature is its open aft architecture, creating a seamless connection to the sea, complemented by a beach club with spa, gym and social areas, as well as a large pool on the main deck.

Inside, the yacht features a soft, sun-washed palette with fluid, light-filled spaces designed to enhance the indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Accommodation is planned for 14 guests and 28 crew, including a full-beam owner’s suite.

Built in steel and aluminium, August will be powered by a diesel-electric hybrid system, offering an estimated top speed of up to 18 knots and a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles.

The concept follows the earlier 78-metre Neon and forms part of a five-yacht series aimed at redefining the large yacht segment, positioning Astra Nord as a new force in Northern European shipbuilding.
