The countdown is on for one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic sailing events as the 30th anniversary edition of the The Superyacht Cup Palma Richard Mille prepares to welcome an exceptional fleet to the Bay of Palma.
As Europe’s longest-running superyacht regatta, the event has built its reputation on a unique blend of world-class racing and relaxed owner-focused hospitality. This year’s milestone edition promises to be one of the most memorable yet, with one of the largest fleets in the regatta’s history gathering in Mallorca from 24–27 June.
Hosted in partnership with the newly redeveloped Club de Mar-Mallorca, the 2026 edition will recreate the vibrant dockside atmosphere that has defined the event for three decades, bringing all participating yachts together in a redesigned regatta village.
“We are beyond delighted to welcome so many entries to our 30th anniversary edition,” said Event Owner and Director Kate Branagh. “Having the fleet together once again alongside the main event village brings back the atmosphere and energy that have made this regatta so special over the years.”
Historic Fleet and New Racing Classes
This year’s event highlights both tradition and innovation. For the first time in its history, the regatta will feature a dedicated multihull class, alongside a new YYachts division, creating five competitive racing classes in total.
Among the headline entries are the magnificent J Class yachts Rainbow and Svea, which will once again renew their famous rivalry on a dedicated racecourse.
The new multihull fleet includes Allegra, Gaea, Highland Fling, and Layla, each bringing top-level sailing talent and promising spectacular high-performance racing.
Returning superyacht competitors include crowd favorites such as Win Win, Archelon, Cervo, and Atalante 1, while newcomers making their Superyacht Cup debut include the 58-metre Perini Navi ketch Burrasca, the elegant Wally Inco, the Nautor Swan yachts Point Counter Point and Spiip.
The dedicated YYachts class will feature six yachts, including Lucid, Distancia, Bella, Beati, Makai, and Calabash, adding a fresh competitive dimension to the regatta.
Celebrating Sailing Heritage
The 2026 edition is not only a celebration of the regatta’s legacy but also of several long-standing industry partners. Alongside the Superyacht Cup’s 30th anniversary, partners including Richard Mille, Carbo-Link, Marinepool, Hoek Design, and YYachts are also marking significant milestones of their own.
Festivities begin on 24 June with registration, safety briefings, and the traditional Welcome Cocktail Party. Racing officially starts with the Pantaenius Race on 25 June, followed by the prestigious 30th Anniversary Race and St. Regis Race over the following days.
