Sanlorenzo Launches 73m Flagship Superyacht Virtuosity

Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has launched Virtuosity, the second yacht in its flagship 74Steel series and the largest superyacht ever built by the yard. The 73-metre vessel was launched in La Spezia and is scheduled for delivery later this year.

Designed by Zuccon International Project, Virtuosity introduces several groundbreaking features, including a living Ficus Nitida tree spanning two decks, a submerged aquarium built into the hull, and a spectacular 230-square-metre Ocean Resort beach club with fold-down platforms, wellness facilities, and a DJ lounge.

The bespoke interior, created by Studio Paolo Ferrari in collaboration with Sanlorenzo’s Style Department, offers accommodation for up to 16 guests and features two owner’s suites, elegant entertainment spaces, a glass-bottom pool, cinema lounge, gym, and a touch-and-go helipad that doubles as a sports deck.

Powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system, Virtuosity has a top speed of 15 knots, cruises comfortably at 12 knots, and boasts a transoceanic range of 6,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.

With its innovative design and highly personalised layout, Virtuosity sets a new benchmark for bespoke luxury and reinforces Sanlorenzo’s position at the forefront of modern superyacht design.
