Riva Launches the First 96’ Argo Super Flybridge Ahead of Cannes Debut

-

Riva, the iconic Italian brand of the Ferretti Group, has launched the first 28.8-metre Riva 96’ Argo Super, introducing the next evolution of its acclaimed flybridge series. Built at the shipyard’s La Spezia facility, the yacht will make her official public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

Developed through the long-standing collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Engineering Department, the new model builds on the success of the Riva 90’ Argo while introducing a more refined layout, enhanced outdoor living spaces and greater onboard comfort.

One of the most significant upgrades is found at the stern, where the beach club has been completely redesigned. A large sunpad is integrated into the garage door, which opens to reveal storage for a Williams 435 tender and a jet ski, while the hydraulic swim platform provides effortless access to the sea.

The spacious cockpit now features additional storage, a refrigerator and adjustable seating around an alfresco dining area. Above, the flybridge has been upgraded with a new bar, elegant mahogany tables and generous lounge spaces designed for entertaining.

Inside, the first yacht adopts a welcoming main deck layout with a dining area aft and a lounge forward, creating a bright and social atmosphere. The full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck benefits from expansive glazing, flooding the interior with natural light and uninterrupted sea views.

Guest accommodation on the lower deck includes three luxurious cabins, highlighted by a full-beam VIP suite, while an alternative layout offers three VIP cabins plus a twin guest cabin.

Powered by twin 2,000hp MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines, the Riva 96’ Argo Super is equipped with Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers, the Watchit collision prevention system, Xenta X-AID manoeuvring assistance and a virtual anchor system, delivering outstanding performance, comfort and safety.

With its signature styling, innovative features and improved connection to the sea, the new Riva 96’ Argo Super reinforces the brand’s reputation for combining timeless Italian elegance with cutting-edge yacht design. It is expected to be one of the standout premieres at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
