Pastrovich Studio has introduced an ambitious new superyacht concept series that reimagines the future of charter. Known as X-Shinobi, the project is a scalable “yacht family” ranging from 60 to 190 metres, designed to challenge convention while maintaining architectural coherence across all sizes.

Founded by Stefano Pastrovich, the Monaco-based studio has approached the concept with a clear objective: evolve the traditional “wedding cake” superyacht profile into something more refined, contemporary and operationally efficient for the next generation of charter.
A New Design Language for Modern Yachting
The X-Shinobi series introduces a disciplined design philosophy built on clarity of line, balanced proportions and meticulous attention to detail. Extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing plays a central role, creating a seamless dialogue between interior and exterior spaces while enhancing natural light and guest connection to the sea.
Rather than relying on visual excess, the concept embraces a more understated form of luxury. As described by the studio, “Shinobi” reflects a quiet, controlled elegance—where strength is expressed through precision and proportion rather than ornamentation.
Rethinking Life On Board
One of the most notable departures from conventional layouts is the repositioning of all guest cabins onto the main deck. This strategic move maximises views, daylight and access to private outdoor spaces, elevating the overall onboard experience.

Meanwhile, technical and operational areas—including crew quarters, engine rooms, spa facilities and tender garages—are relocated to the lower deck. This separation allows for a more guest-centric environment, improving privacy and spatial flow throughout the yacht.
The tender garage is designed to accommodate a versatile mix of equipment, including a 10–12 metre tender, a secondary tender and jet skis, ensuring full support for charter operations.
Built for the Future of Charter
At its core, X-Shinobi is conceived as a platform optimised for charter efficiency and market evolution. Flexible accommodation layouts allow for multiple configurations, including options with dual master suites or a mix of master, VIP and guest cabins—supporting a broader range of charter scenarios.
Common areas are designed to balance privacy and social interaction, creating what the studio describes as a more “democratic” onboard experience—where space is adaptable and shared without compromising exclusivity.
Performance and Engineering
The yachts will be powered by diesel-electric systems with azimuth propulsion, aligning with industry trends toward efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Specifications vary across the range, with the 80-metre model offering approximately 2,300GT, a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 5,700 nautical miles.
A Platform, Not Just a Design
With X-Shinobi, Pastrovich Studio moves beyond aesthetics to deliver a concept rooted in functionality, adaptability and long-term relevance. It represents a shift in how superyachts are conceived—not just as luxury objects, but as intelligent platforms designed to meet the evolving expectations of owners, charterers and operators alike.
In a market increasingly defined by experience, efficiency and sustainability, X-Shinobi positions itself as a forward-thinking response to the future of luxury yachting.
