Oceanco Launches 111m Superyacht Y726 — A Monumental Feat in Design and Engineering

Dutch yacht builder Oceanco has officially launched Y726, a 111-metre masterpiece that stands as one of the shipyard’s largest and most technically ambitious builds to date. Commissioned in 2022 by a seasoned returning client, Y726 is now entering sea trials, with delivery scheduled for later this year.

With an impressive beam of 16 metres and a gross tonnage of 4,550GT, Y726 is a powerhouse of luxury, functionality, and innovative design. The yacht was designed with extensive collaboration at its core—Espen Øino is behind the elegant exterior lines, while the interiors are imagined by Mark Berryman, renowned for his calming, family-focused approach. Lateral Naval Architects handled naval architecture in partnership with Oceanco’s in-house experts and Dan Jackson of Falcon Yacht Management, representing the owner.

A Floating Private Resort

Y726 is designed to host up to 28 guests and 34 crew, with a layout that balances privacy and expansive leisure. Key onboard features include:

  • Cinema lounge
  • Wellness area with gym, spa, sauna & steam room
  • Beach club with bar opening directly onto the swim platform
  • Dual Jacuzzis, a pool, and an outdoor cinema
  • Winter garden and covered cocktail areas
  • Private owner’s deck with exclusive amenities

The yacht’s unique blend of entertainment and relaxation spaces positions it as a floating sanctuary, made for long-term cruising and immersive experiences.

The yacht was last spotted in December 2023, when the yacht arrived at Oceanco’s Alblasserdam facilities for outfitting. It had an unconventional wrap during the transportation, which was completed by Rotterdam-based graffiti artist I AM EELCO “to add a cheerful wink” to the yacht’s Espen Øino-designed exterior.

Wrapped in Art

In an unexpected creative twist, Y726 was spotted during her December 2023 transfer wrapped in graffiti art by Rotterdam-based artist I AM EELCO, giving a playful contrast to her otherwise sophisticated exterior. This temporary look was described as a “cheerful wink” at the otherwise sleek design by Øino.

Built Through Collaboration

Lee Archer of Lateral commented, “This project is the result of bold design ambition and robust engineering… Y726 stands as a testament to what’s possible when engineering and vision align.”

A Landmark Addition to Oceanco’s Fleet

As a flagship launch of 2025, Y726 showcases the future of ultra-large yacht building—where collaboration, innovation, and personalisation converge. With her delivery imminent, the superyacht world waits in anticipation to see her out at sea.
