Monaco Yacht Show Opens Applications for Blue Wake 2026 Sustainability Programme

-

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) has officially opened applications for Blue Wake 2026, inviting exhibitors to showcase eco-sustainable solutions that contribute to environmental improvement across the yachting industry.

Building on the success of its 2025 pilot programme, which highlighted 59 environmental improvement solutions, Blue Wake 2026 introduces an enhanced, evidence-based framework developed in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation. Exhibitors are required to outline the environmental focus of their innovations and provide supporting evidence demonstrating their impact.

For the first time, the programme has expanded beyond yacht builders and suppliers to include brokerage and yacht management companies, recognising that sustainability extends throughout the entire lifecycle of a yacht.

Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige, described Blue Wake as a key step in strengthening transparency and environmental responsibility within the superyacht sector, while Leah Werner, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation, said the updated framework provides exhibitors with a practical and credible way to present sustainability initiatives backed by measurable evidence.

Applications are now open through the MYS Exhibitor Zone, with all submissions to be independently evaluated by the Water Revolution Foundation. The deadline for entries is 1 July 2026.

As sustainability continues to shape the future of luxury yachting, Blue Wake 2026 aims to highlight the technologies, services, and operational practices driving meaningful environmental progress across the industry.
