Five international destinations have been awarded the M3 Monaco Smart & Sustainable Standard S3 Label during the sixth Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous, organised by M3 Monaco and held during the Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
The S3 Label recognises destinations demonstrating progress in sustainability, operational excellence, customer experience and innovation, reflecting the industry’s growing focus on responsible marina development.

According to José Marco Casellini, CEO of M3 Monaco, the S3 Label provides a comprehensive framework covering sustainability, environmental performance, experience and operational standards.
The five recognised destinations were:
Regatta Level — Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, Saudi Arabia
Recognised for community programmes, children’s sailing initiatives and marine conservation, including sea turtle protection. The marina is also becoming an international gateway for yachts visiting the Red Sea.
Flagship Level — Port of Saint-Florent, Corsica
The marina was recognised for operational quality, its long-term commitment to improvement and its development within a carefully preserved natural environment.
Sovereign Level — Ayla Marina, Aqaba, Jordan
Ayla Marina combines engineering, environmental responsibility and destination development, incorporating lagoons, beaches, an international marina and initiatives supporting marine biodiversity and coral growth.
Sovereign Level — AMAALA Yacht Club, Saudi Arabia
Part of the Red Sea development, AMAALA integrates architecture, nature and environmental responsibility. The project includes contributions from Foster + Partners, HKS and M3 Monaco, alongside coral protection initiatives and fully decarbonised boats and watercraft.
Sovereign Level — Yacht Club de Monaco
Founded in 1953 and under the leadership of HSH Prince Albert II since 1984, the Yacht Club de Monaco was recognised for combining yachting excellence, innovation, knowledge sharing and environmental responsibility through its “Art de Vivre la Mer” philosophy.

The S3 process is structured around diagnosis, validation and optimisation, followed by recognition, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
For M3 Monaco, the initiative reflects a broader evolution in the marina industry: sustainability is increasingly being considered not simply as an environmental objective, but as part of the overall quality, operation and future development of a nautical destination.
