Vancouver-based ER Yacht Design has unveiled Untouchable, a 110-metre superyacht concept that reimagines the traditional gentleman’s yacht through understated design, long-range capability and a strong connection to the sea.
At 110 metres, Untouchable is conceived as a sophisticated long-range yacht rather than a statement of excess. The design combines a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, creating a powerful yet restrained profile defined by long horizontal lines, sweeping deck overhangs and extensive glazing.
The result is a yacht designed to feel timeless rather than trend-driven.
A New Definition of Luxury
ER Yacht Design has focused on proportion, natural materials and the relationship between interior and exterior spaces.
The principal guest areas use light-toned natural woods, soft ivory textiles, stone surfaces and warm metallic accents to create a calm and contemporary environment.
In the main saloon, panoramic glazing floods the interior with natural light, while generous seating areas lead towards a formal dining space positioned along the yacht’s central axis.
The owner’s suite occupies the full beam and includes a private lounge and spa-style bathroom, creating a secluded retreat away from the principal guest areas.
Designed Around Life at Sea
Outdoor living is central to Untouchable’s concept.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing continues across the main guest decks, while the expansive foredeck provides a private outdoor sanctuary for the owner.
The upper deck has been conceived as a flexible social environment, combining dining and lounge areas for entertaining guests.
At the stern, ER Yacht Design has taken a different approach to the traditional enclosed beach club.
Instead, Untouchable features a multi-level waterfront environment centred around a large swimming pool positioned on the upper beach club terrace.
Large fold-down hull-side platforms extend the usable space over the water, opening the stern laterally towards the sea. The resulting environment is designed for swimming, relaxation, socialising and direct access to tenders and water toys.
Built for Long-Range Exploration
Beyond aesthetics, Untouchable has been conceived as a genuine long-range cruising platform.
The proposed propulsion package targets a cruising speed of approximately 17 knots and a range of more than 8,500 nautical miles, allowing the yacht to undertake extended voyages with significant autonomy.
A dedicated helicopter deck with refuelling and defuelling capabilities further expands the yacht’s operational flexibility, particularly for owners interested in remote destinations.
“Powerful but Calm”
According to Ivan Erdevicki, founder and principal designer of ER Yacht Design, the concept deliberately avoids short-lived design trends.
“With Untouchable, we wanted to create a yacht that does not depend on fashion or visual tricks.”
He added: “Her character comes from proportion, surface, and the way each deck flows into the next. She is powerful but calm – and the longer you look, the more detail you discover.”
That philosophy places Untouchable within a growing movement towards what could be described as quiet luxury at superyacht scale—where sophisticated architecture, privacy, comfort and the quality of the experience become more important than visual extravagance.
Another Step in ER Yacht Design’s Growing Portfolio
Untouchable follows a series of recent concepts from ER Yacht Design, including the 61-metre Logos and the 40-metre ER 40 explorer yacht, unveiled earlier in 2026.
With its combination of substantial volume, long-range capability and understated styling, Untouchable offers another interpretation of where the large superyacht market could be heading: less about spectacle, and more about freedom, privacy and the experience of being at sea.
